  1. You mention that you are on the latest version and that you use tasks. That implies that you were using version 10, but the message you show I believe is only on the legacy version. Is it possible that you have the legacy version and V10 both installed?
  2. Search the forum for recent posts on Legacy (old version). In theory, yes you can still use it but there are many posts explaining why that isn’t a good idea.
  3. @RMorgan, the problem still exists on 10.58.8. I just tried again on this new Mac release, and the very first task I tried to check off never updated. After a couple of minutes I received the error message: " Failed to update note status." I tried again about 10 minutes later and it worked fine. Ticket #3704697 with attached log created.
  4. Yes. I was still seeing it on 10.58.5 intermittently. Wait times up to a minute. I will check out the new version and will submit a ticket if I still see it.
  5. Thanks. For our awareness, is 10.58.8 expected to address the task update delay problem?
  6. Ah, ok. I thought you were referring to the email acknowledgment, and to confirm, yes, even when not clicking on "No, I need help" the help ticket still gets created.
  7. Was this explanation provided on the forum? I try to read most posts but must have missed this one. I'd appreciate a pointer if it was posted here.
  8. I followed you up to this point. If I click on a note in the shortcuts section, the middle pane disappears and Evernote changes to a two pane view. Is that what you mean? Opt - Cmd - 2 on the Mac will get you back to the original three pane view, if that is what you are looking for. I don't know what the keyboard shortcut is for Windows.
  9. Search around, the link for Legacy can still be found on the forum. I think Evernote is trying to make it very clear that Legacy, already not supported, will be going away. The time is now for a plan B. Either make peace with the V10 changes or find a different app that better meets your needs.
  10. I'm not sure if this is directed to me or someone further up the chain, but if me, then yes, a log file was submitted.
  11. No buttons that I can see. A response from one earlier today.
  12. This might be it. Others have reported, and I've seen as well, the updated date being changed by just viewing.
  13. I completely agree. I would like to see an official bug list to see what is on the backlog, but also not surprised that we don't.
  14. That is my thought as well. Seems like a timing issue that gets increasingly exposed as the number of files is increased and it is possible that the new sync mechanism has exacerbated the problem. Probably best to limit the number of files for the time being and submitting a problem ticket with this detail would be helpful.
  15. Have you only noticed this with large batches of files? What happens if you only add say 1 or 3? It should work either way, but would be helpful to know if this only affects large batches. My import folder is only used for scans, which is one at a time and maybe why I don’t see it.
  16. It doesn’t seem that way to me, but ok different perceptions I guess. I have seen some terse responses and I’m probably guilty as well. The user forums only provide first level support. If you have a problem that is impacting you then a support ticket is your main hope to get attention from the company. When problems are reported here we can’t tell if a problem ticket has been created or not, so a reminder to do so doesn’t hurt.
  17. For free users I think there is still support through Twitter, or you can join for a month and then submit a ticket. FWIW, I haven’t experienced this one myself.
  18. Not really. This is a user forum and not an official support channel. We can provide some help and work arounds, but actual problem reporting and fixes need support tickets. Also, reporting them here helps others to know if this is a common, already reported problem or not.
  19. Same here. I submitted a support ticket with this observation. I’ll report back what they say.
  20. Good point. That makes sense and if done by a third party will make ai search a non-starter for me.
  21. I’m glad to hear that you were able to get some tasks back. I was also surprised to see that this note wasn’t backed up as often as others are. As I understand it notes are typically backed up about three times a day and with tasks being updated so often that note should have many back ups. I wonder if all notes with tasks are handled differently. If they are, I hope Evernote rethinks that.
  22. It may take them a few days to get back to you. I’ve had some problems with tasks lately, that support is aware of, but no missing tasks that I’m aware of, or hmmm … maybe that is why I seem to have more free time lately. As a thought, unless you created new notes for your tasks they should be in a note titled Things to do. If you are on a payment plan you will have access to note history. Maybe you will have a backup of that note with all of your tasks there. That said, I just checked on my system and that note hasn’t been backed up in a month, though it gets updated daily, so this special note may be excluded, for some reason, from their typical backup.
  23. If you direct download from the Evernote site, you will always get the latest and greatest. Update rollouts within the app can take a while.
  24. Please don't repeat yourself. We've already gone down this path less than a day ago.
