  1. Which date is corrupted: the creation date or update date? There is a known issue with update dates which change by just reading the note... edit: and which evernote version do you run?
  2. Do you mean that the June notes from your phone were never synced before, that your phone was permanently offline last month? In that case, it 'll be difficult to recover these notes I'm afraid...
  3. hmm, the proper operation should never depend on the speed/performance of a system. As long as the developers try to solve the data loss through speed improvements, the underlying race condition bugs will never be solved, only hidden.
  4. Unless, of course, you've removed content yourself. However, in your case, the content was deleted unintentionally due to a software bug. This change was then saved as new history with less data in it. The question is, do you find all the content in older history, or is that also gone?
  5. Yeah, this has been a known problem for as long as EN exists which has been discussed several times on the forums. There are two workarounds to prevent unencrypted history of your sensitive data: Encrypt first a small dummy text and then change it to the actual text Create and encrypt your text with disconnected network I hope Bending Spoons will finally solve this properly
  6. That's probably because your workflow is close to the "happy flow". To develop a robust application, 10% development time is needed to implement the happy flow and 90% to implement the corner cases, alternative and exceptional flows. The problem is that managers often think the product is ready as soon as they see the happy flow working...
  7. Yes, the clock is ticking for V10 indeed, frustrated users will not wait endlessly for a real fix of the underlying race condition bugs in V10. These kinds of bugs cannot be fixed by just improving performance. This may reduce the frequency, but the real problem will always come back sooner or later
  8. What do you mean by "basically it did not work". Was it impossible to export, or was the export corrupted in some way?
  9. Have you tried that yourself? Even though my 3800 notes are all offline, my windows client refuses to export without connection. 🙄 Offline export is perfectly possible in legacy...
  10. Yes, last year support engineers also rebuilt/fixed my database on the server side with good results...
  11. So, this is something completely different from "all my tasks are gone", at least no data loss...
  12. Are you sure about that? With unplugged network, I get "offline", never "All changes saved". So I think the intended meaning is that it is synced to the server.
  13. I wonder why none of these blocking issues were ever reported by the beta testers? Or was it just ignored as a very rare issue?
  14. What? History did not have any version earlier than that? So, all the history of that long-running note (more than a year) was deleted?!? What have they done to history? Is it converted into the yjs format as well, maybe in a compressed form, just keeping the deltas? Have you checked that your note wasn't duplicated (behind your back) and that it's maybe a copy you're working on? That could at least explain the missing history versions (but not the missing data). What is the creation date of your note?
  15. I'm also wondering if we shouldn't raise the log level if we plan to send logs when this issue occurs? In the desktop version you do this as follows: ctrl help -> Activity Log-> Adjust loglevel -> Verbose (something like that, I translated this) I don't know how to do this on the other clients... I'm not sure if this will help the developers and/or how heavy this is on the file system and performance? If you're lucky, this may be a stress test that reveals the actual problem...
  16. At least in your case history was still there! But history that has been suddenly removed is very hard to understand and is completely unacceptable (all changes were synced on all devices before) . History must be cumulative and may never be removed unless the note is completely removed. Or there is something completely wrong with history, or the user was suddenly working on a duplicate from a few days ago without knowing...
  17. why is it called "three note sync issue" ? We know that the Evernote team was working hard to resolve this stuff, but they hoped that it was solved last friday 😕
  18. But then why is there no history? Are we 1984? I hoped history would never be altered, at least not in my notes...
  19. The conclusion then is that it never synced, although the app probably informed you that it synced perfectly all the time ?
