Hi. Signing out of Evernote on each device and then back in should trigger an update so that the device has the latest version of your notes. There could be technical reasons for one or more failing to sync - check your notes via a browser and Evernote.com to see the server version. If a device has notes that are not the same as those on the server, it is having an issue syncing. Tips for troubleshooting syncing issues

I just have it saving to my default notebook, so clips are pretty quick. Another app - Filterize - checks all newly synced notes and tags/ reassigns them to different notebooks as necessary.

An external app "Filterize" adds a lot of functionality to Evernote, including note locking.

Yes, but it won't affect access to the shared notebook. See @PinkElephant's comment above. The free account can't create 25MB+ notes, but it can access a 1MB note if that note was created elsewhere. The free account wouldn't be able to edit the large note though, just view it. Or you could both have a paid account....

It's very bad practice for two people to log into the same account - notes can become corrupted when two people attempt to save changes at the same time. Better for one person to have a paid account, the other to have a separate free account, and both to share notes and notebooks with each other. Several people have reported 'empty' accounts - which usually means the update is still going on, or they created a new account in error when logging back in - but if you can see most of your notes but not this particular one, the only possibility is that it has somehow moved to the Trash notebook. Sympathies - I come from a database management background, so have patience with the work involved in maintaining a lot of records, so maybe my tolerance is unusually high; but I'm currently in the throes of writing a post about a two-tier note system that I'm now using. I have Workflowy as a 'short' notes / links / to-do repository, with Evernote for the more detailed stuff. Works for me, as minimalist does for you. Whatever gets the job done!

Hi. I've installed the Gmail extension - How to use Evernote for Gmail - which still works for me. I do have the same clipper and the same limited options as you on the mail page - I don't normally use Clipper for emails, so couldn't say when/ if things changed.

Maybe things changed with the new version...
