  1. Give the notes a unique tag and save a search for that tag. Add the search to your favourites/ shortcuts and they'll always be just one click away.
  2. Hi. If you're a subscriber, raise it with Support - you'll get some direct feedback. Don't know how many here will be using that feature and/ or able to comment.
  3. Sorry - you're correct that the item says 'people you can share notebooks with' but it doesn't specify whether that's one notebook with 20 notes to 500 people, or 25 notebooks with a total of 500 notes... Best suggestion is back to ask support - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps/
  4. Hi. If it's any guide - I'm continuing to use the pre-Legacy versions of Evernote for Windows and Android until they're pried from my cold, dead laptop. But that's because what I have going here works for me, and I have no intention of breaking my workflow for hours or days while I convert to a new system. I am using Evernote v10 in Beta on Linux, because that's my test system; and it has a lot going for it. But the bits I need are already available in my current versions. I'm happy where I am. Legacy will run alongside v10, and if you upgrade, you'll be able to try the new services for yourself. If you need local backups, you can continue to run them on Legacy (its local database is kept up to date with changes via v10). You could even use Legacy to access one set of notes and keep v10 for the other to avoid switching. And yes, Import Folders are back. Legacy apps will not be updated from where they are, and v10 will no doubt be getting more features and security updates in future, so I guess I'll be dragged kicking and screaming into the 25th-and-a-half Century with everyone else - but for the moment I'm good here, thanks...
  5. Hi. First off, as a backup, have a look at at Import Folders - if you can scan to your desktop, it's possible to connect one or more folders there to import to specific notebooks. Second - you say you installed a plugin - is this a Canon product, or an Evernote option? I've not encountered it before.

  7. Can you manage a screenshot of a test note so we have more of an idea what you're seeing?
  8. Your phone runs an older version of Android. You need 10 or higher to use Evernote 10.
  9. I missed the lines about sharing! Thanks for me too...
  10. Hi. There are a couple of forum threads on this but no apparent conclusion - https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/128610-sharing-notes/ https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/138076-evernote-for-note-collaboration/ There's even a Reddit to the same (none) effect: https://www.reddit.com/r/Evernote/comments/o63nlc/when_trying_to_share_notebooks_i_get_an_error/ Internet searches usually help a lot with queries, but in this case there seems to be nothing concrete. There's no published 'sharing limit' for Evernote Free, but we'd be pretty sure there is no limit for subscribers...
  11. If its any reassurance, I've apparently updated invisibly to 7.19 without any obvious issues - except this one works as expected...
  12. Understood. Sadly Evernote doesn't work that way - it's either single user as you already have seen, or multi user via Evernote accounts. While you can share notes with others, there's no task management structure around that.
  13. Hi. These Forums are mainly user 2 user - subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and Free users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or use the feedback option in the mobile client).
  14. I've been using Evernote for around 12 years now, in part to digitise some professional reference libraries for Insurance, Law, Accounting and IT. I've managed to get to 57,000 notes, but natural wastage is making it hard to get many more - items naturally expire about as fast as I find new topics to add. I think it might be hard to get to 100,000 notes; even if it is possible you should be safe for the next decade or so...
  15. If you check the forum, this has already been reported and - allegedly - fixed. Make sure you update your browser clipper extension(s).
  16. All due respect, if you've been using free software for 8 years, and this is the first issue, I'd say you're doing pretty well. The only way I know of to possibly recover some part of this missing data is Note History, which as you correctly say, requires a subscription. If you can manage to pay monthly, you'd also have access to email support for a short period while you try to correct this...
  17. Hi. You could almost be describing https://evernote.com/teams
  18. Hi. You may have to explain your needs in a little more detail - there's no quota for 'sharing' notes with others; you could start with the free plan and decide more from there. Beware that with Free you can only access the account when logged in through two devices - desktop and web, or mobile and web/ desktop.
  19. Hi. We're mainly just other users around here. I suggest raising a support ticket if you can to send a copy of the logs to Evernote. Otherwise, just kill and uninstall the app, restart your device and re-download/ install the latest version. NB you'll have to re-create your offline notebooks and wait for them to be repopulated with notes from the server via sync.
  20. ..Two other work-arounds: Create a comma-separated version of your tags - <tag1>,<tag2>,<tag3>,<tag4>,<tag5>,<tag6> - and save that as text somewhere handy - in one of your notes, or in a text file on your desktop. Copy and paste that entire string into the tag field in a new note - Evernote will parse it back into separate tags. Create a 'blank' template note with those tags - duplicate it each time you need a new note with those tags.
  21. Hi. Have you tried selecting the whole list, removing the numbers format, then re-applying it?
