  1. I was sharing what worked for me and trying to be helpful. Next time I see you ask a question I’ll ensure I don’t indulge that tendency.
  2. Try logging out your app and sign back in again. It’s generally resolving these issues.
  3. Hi all, am I correct in understanding that if I put attachments in notes - pdf for instance these will be indexed and are searchable? How exactly does that search then work? If I do a global search will the attachments appear and the results be in the search results?
  4. Just tested app on my iPhone, same issue, keeps asking me to upgrade to use personal features, this time sign out and in isn’t working. It’s a fresh install of Evernote too.
  5. I don’t believe we have lost any features, we may not have gained some of the ones we would like but we haven’t lost any. I thought we had but logging out then logging back in my app fixed my issues.
  6. Hey, no, I hadn’t tried logging out the app, I did that and now it seems to be ok.
  7. Yes, the website says personal, the app though seems to think I am not on this. I also just noticed that my tasks tab no longer displays all my tasks but instead an upgrade request. So essentially tasks is useless now if I can’t actually see the things. I hope this isnt gonna be another EN 10 level rollout! So far its sucking features away from my app.
  8. Hi, the email we received before stated those of us on premium would lose no features but gain new ones. My Evernote Home is now telling me I cannot use specific widgets like calendars or tasks or scratchpad without upgrading to personal. As premium is meant to have all the features it did, I assume this is a bug as I previously had scratch pad. Can someone clarify why this is taking place and how this can be resolved.
  9. That’s really helpful, thank you. It’s actually a feature I could use, though I think if I’m right my premium is now personal according to my account. That people don’t need to sign up too is somewhat helpful. It would be handy to have Evernote contacts where we add folks and can interact with @s etc to tasks, dunno if that’s planned for the future.
  10. https://evernote.com/compare-plans Oft! More expensive, glad my plan lives on! overall my plan seems unchanged. Professional looks really cool too - especially being able to allocate tasks to others, though how that works without contact lists is unclear? We should get early access to that. Im not clear if our premium is the new personal or if current premium users get professional? (Hoping the latter!). Also if limits change per plan ie the 100k limit?
  11. Issue remains on the latest version too. Scrolling the all notes list on iOS isn’t practical any longer. Having to use search to locate notes I would previously scroll too.
  12. I would think sub now would be the better idea…that way if the new premium costs more you keep this price, but if a new one comes out you prefer you can simply change it?
  13. Hmm it’s more sinister than even the most dire (and hysterical) prediction here. The plans are individualised! They are seeking our souls, our very lives, I wonder what else. Watch out folks Ian’s coming for us!
  14. If you reload the help page 537 times it reveals the plans in full, the cost of the new plan is your SOUL, Evernote is coming for us with there super evil plans, it’s all there in that dangerous email, if you really look for it.* *Sarcasm.
  15. I’ve read through this and honestly it’s frustrating. Apologies if this is harsh but it reads as if - the top one percent who spend excessive amounts on laptops are irate that ONE piece of tech doesn’t orbit around their overpriced device (I am an Apple user but there’s no denying they are overpriced for laptops). Many have pointed out, fairly in my view that there are many issues, that affect everyone that need to be resolved. That seems to only bring indignation because it’s not the M1. It’s a real struggle to have any sympathy with this mentality.
  16. Good way of putting it. The replies to this thread have been….interesting (being polite). People love to complain, even if they have to make something up (for we don’t know what the price plans will be) in order to do it.
  17. Personally I don’t see how this is bad or negative? The core issue of the email was to inform prices are not going up and new tiers seem to be coming. We might want to know the info now but we have to wait. I don’t see how more choice could be a negative, I’ll wait and see though. It seems for me I’m getting these mysterious new features the premium plan will contain, I look forward to seeing what these are. I’d love the 100k limit to be abolished, though I’m no where near it, it sticks in my mind it isn’t ‘ever’note but 100knote.
  18. The help page has a bit more info. It ‘looks’ like plus might be back? I’m not sure as the language is all messy for me as it seems there are many payment levels even on the same tiers. Watching with intrigue as plus might suit me if it has decent features - I’m by no means a power user.
  19. Anyone received an email about this today? I’m not sure what mines means but it looks like customers are getting increased options and further features on premium.
  20. I was thinking this the other day too. If Evernote is looking towards getting stuff done some form on contact integration would be deeply beneficial. I’m aware Apple is adding a tagging feature inline on notes and something along those lines would be really handy. I would love it if we could tag someone inline, say in a task and it would then notify them asking if they accept that task etc. I know we can currently share notes but it’s not exactly intuitive, inline contact tagging would be something I would find really useful (after I convince my teams to adopt Evernote lol).
  21. Just to say, this problem remains on today’s release. Have to use search as scrolling all notes is really glitchy.
  22. I get where your coming from. I’m really hoping EN10 improves, the iOS apps are not fun at all just now. My issue is I’ve found nothing that comes close to EN, other than the app I pmed you about.
  23. I don’t think it’s ungracious to be frustrated, to be disappointed, to look at other options - as you are and we are all learning from your process - so thank you for that I think though we need to be cautious in our frustrations, when we start placing onto people an agenda we cannot truly know and condemn them for that we are doing something I think is a little unfair. Apologies if my words came across harsh, they were meant more as tongue in cheek, I perhaps spend too much time on Twitter where the default is character attacks. I don’t know Ian, for all I know you could be right, but I try to give him the benefit of the doubt, even if I chose to move on.
  24. Agreed, it’s amazing how ungracious people are online where suddenly everyone wears big boy pants and is uber bold. I have never got the vibe from Ian it’s about money, he appears to have a clear vision for the product and it’s moving in that direction. Whether we like that vision and its reality is a separate matter lol.
  25. If you are looking Mac only one I’ve used that is excellent is notebooks 10 or notebooks for iPad as its sometimes called. It uses html as a base and syncs through Dropbox currently (iCloud coming). I’ve used it for years and it’s always been well maintained by the app maker. It’s not cheap but it’s a one off payment for the app. They do have a windows app but freely admit it’s uncared for as there’s no demand for it. I’m yet to find a good html notes editor (that’s for notes and not websites) for windows.
