  1. Past hour
  2. The look is different than when it was first released. There are buttons at the bottom that allow fast access to notes and shortcuts that weren’t there before. It would have been nice to have the ability to customize those buttons. Like a Widgets button.
  3. One thing I love about the new interface on Android is the task bar at the bottom, where it is easy to navigate directly to tasks or to create a new one. I wish the Windows and Web versions would adopt the same appearance.
  4. Today
  5. These clips were done with a MacBook Pro 14“ M2 Max, connected to a 4K BenQ monitor. There shouldn’t be a difference.
  6. Try to use Boolean Search, with an OR as connecting argument. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405520390291-Use-Boolean-search-for-targeted-search-results
  7. You won’t get a massive software change just because you think it will be useful for yourself. Unless you can convince EN that it is a feature that will be used by many users, it will not happen. I have no use case for hidden comments to a note for myself. I rarely use that feature at all where it is available today. Personally I see your proposal more as a danger than anything I would like to have. By intertwining 2 notes, they always need to be synced simultaneously. That’s not as easy as it seems, and for mobile it would mean taking the apps apart, and stitch them together again. Currently mobile can have one single note open at any time.
  8. I merged two notes that each had a ScanSnap scan of a receipt (credit card and main receipt for same purchase) and now I see two spinning icons. I hope merging doesn't lose the images of the receipts. I used to do this all the time in Legacy without issue. I know I'm sure you're sick of hearing of all the wonderful things that worked in Legacy and don't work in v10.86.8.
  9. Just took out my MBP 15“ (2018), Intel i7. It doesn’t feel as snappy as my MBP 14“ (2022), Apple M2 Max. But that’s no surprise, most apps just feel snappier on Apple Silicon. But I wouldn’t call it laggy, it’s just that little blink less energetic. You can check battery health in System Settings, Battery. You can check whether your database is stored locally. The option „Keep a copy of my data on logout“must be active. Running without local data will slow down the client. That‘s all I can contribute here. BTW there is no MBP 15“ (2019). The model year is the release year, which was 2019. The Intel MBP (2019) is the 16“ version.
  10. I wrote the below to feedback@evernote.com, but I wanted to share it here to see how many agree with my sentiment. Hopefully if enough of us speak out something will change: ----------------------------- You guys are iterating way too quickly, releasing too many features at once and breaking workflows with the bugs that they bring because the new features haven't been tested enough prior to release. Evernote is productivity software that people use to organize their work and lives and therefore it needs to be reliable. Things were better when you were focused on reliability than adding new features. We need you to slow down, if you read your forums most posts are complaining about bugs, new features are nice but please let them bake longer in the oven and only release them when they have been thoroughly tested and are ready, not quickly to get them out the door. Please consider a true Early Access program that is opt in so those looking to try new features can and those looking for ultimate stability can stay on a stable track. Many software vendors have a beta program, in fact most do. Right now I feel like all of your paying customers are beta testers and that is not OK. You are selling the most expensive notetaking app on the market, please start to act like it. ----------------------------- If enough of us share this sentiment and pass this along to them, maybe they will listen to us. Strength in numbers.
  11. They just completely borked the desktop clients this week when they overhauled tasks and added tasks into calendar. I'm hoping that 10.88 is a major stabilization release, I had to downgrade to 10.66.8 to just barely have a stable working environment. Let's let them fix the mess they made rushing these new features out and then support a new category of devices. I honestly hope one of these days Bending Spoons will get a little more experienced and learn that they should only release features when they are ready not quickly.

  13. The new layout isn’t even correct on my older iPhone. It’s usable but one of the buttons is partially cut off. I don’t see them working on foldables in the foreseeable future.
  14. These are being ported to mobile along with collapsable sections and one other thing I can't remember off hand.
  15. I highly doubt that Evernote will make a change based on a complaint thread in the forum. A better use of everyone’s time is to submit a support ticket if you have an actual problem. Gripes can be sent to feedback@evernote.com
  16. We are up to 10.87.0 on Android. This is higher than the Windows version number that had the description field. Yet Android is still missing the description and other new fields.
  17. I see now, with your help, the issue is how to access a comments page (secondary note) and I think the answer is an icon in the header bar. I can attach a page of secondary notes as you advise, but I have to scroll to that link to access them. I lose my place in the main note which is harder to work around on the mobile. Some of the notes I'm working have over a thousand words. But, with a comments icon in the header I can go to that secondary note from any point on the main note and not lose the point where I'm reading. This would be very useful for Evernote mobile. One click of the icon opens the secondary note, one click of Done, takes me back to my reading point in the main note. Since the secondary note is an EN note, it will format as usual, and always be easily accessed no matter the device. Here is a visual for instance: 1 main note – a comment icon in header bar ( left of ••• ) to access the secondary note and one in the format bar to create. 2 comments window – Done takes you back to the main note.
  18. Please don't hijack other threads with duplicate posts - I deleted your other comment on this. If you'd like some help with your issues, please start your own thread with full details of you device and OS / Evernote version numbers, plus details of what you're trying to accomplish and what's going wrong. We're mainly other users here, but may be able to help. If you simply wanted to feedback to Evernote, maybe talk to them direct via feedback@Evernote.com
  19. It's not as simple as you think it is... software development doesn't work that way. It's a complex change, not a single digit. They would have to likely at a minimum write and implement a media query or whatever the equivalent is for react native and then write various classes to collapse all of the various UI elements so they look correct on that screen size and don't break. You are vastly oversimplifying things. I work in web development personally and I can tell you that this is a fairly complex issue, they would need to officially support foldables which they evidentially don't.
  20. That seems very cumbersome. I'm hoping there is a better way
  21. rediculus Captcha effectively disabled nixnote2 access. I was forced to use the Windows client which is riddled with bugs. It crashes over many records when exporting the notes. It offers very little help to locate the troubled records. Evernote is unusable and I will not renew my membership. I am done with this nonesense.
  22. Hey @mackid1993 fixing the above problem would be as simple as increasing the limit of distinction between tablet and phone by 1 inch or so. changing this means as little as changing a single digit in the entire Evernote code.
  23. It's possible to exclude tags from a search by prepending a "-" so if you want to find all notes with tag:A, but not tag:b or tag:C you would search tag:A -tag:B -tag:C. You would need three searches to find all notes with just one of those three tags. If you want to save the group, add a new temporary tag "tempABC" or something similar each time.
  24. How can I select all the notes found with a few different tags? For example, all the notes from 3 different tags. I don't want notes that all of 3 of those tags, that's seems easy to do. Maybe a simpler way to ask: How do I select more than one tag? Thanks
  25. Foldables are fairly new and not all apps fully support those layouts yet. Most people don't have them and I personally would rather Evernote focus on fixing bugs rather than supporting niche, very expensive devices. What is likely happening is a media query for all screen sizes over 7 inches will display the tablet layout as foldables aren't supported.
  26. The list price of my Samsung fold 5 phone was almost 2,000 € when it came out. it has a super cool 7" screen in between of a phone and a tablet. Guess what, I bought it because I actually do need that screen space. Evernote sees it as a tablet and decided to waste my screen space by the new navigation for tablets that came out today (it is actually not really new but an old disaster that was reintroduced now again to make us unhappy, probably). Admitted, it is probably okay on real tablets, big ones.
