  1. I'd love to see a widget that allows you to pick a Saved Search or a tag* to display all notes / results for. I do this with Shortcuts - keeping a Saved Search to show me all notes with the tag of "Radar" to show me everything that needs attention today. If "Home" could do this, that would let me and others build a great "dashboard" to drive our worlds. Thanks again for listening. Appreciate you all. * of course, a Search could be saved to search for all notes with the Tag. So, maybe, just a widget to display the results of a Saved Search.
  2. Came across "Home" today. I'm liking it; it's growing on me. Request: If a Stack is in your Shortcuts, can it "expand" instead of just immediately going to all notes in that "Stack?" I've used two Stacks in my Short Cuts for years - in the Legacy Web Client and on the current iOS client, I use these to quickly open and go to the notebook under that stack. If that could happen in this new Shortcuts module, that would be cool. Thanks as always for listening.
  3. I'm not one to gripe, but, I've been so frustrated on this topic I'm going to chime in. Evernote - I agree with the above, please, please bring back the old app until this new app can "finish baking." I've been a member since 2011. I was lured by great tools, and a promise that Evernote wanted to be the 100 Year Company. A promise that this would be my trusted companion for all my information. And, it has been that. My records system, my to do list, my journal - that I could use anywhere. Then we were promised "modernization," which, sure, things for sure look "dated" - but they worked - so the "dated" was okay. The new looks, including the iOS, I think are well thought out. Frankly, you would hope so for the amount of time this has taken. So, when the release came, I was excited. But, out of the chute, things went south fast. My trust tool IS NO MORE on iOS. I won't list all the bugs here (I'm sure they are all documented. Also, I've opened a support ticket close to two weeks ago with no response), but, at a core fundamental, I cannot reliably create notes: I've seen them flat out disappear into the either. Plain text notes, or "snapshot photos" - gone without a trace. Some that were critical in the moment - something that never happened with the old app. Reminders cannot be edited. It acts like it is, but, then the note shows the old date. Nor can I retrieve notes. Quickly. In the moment. Whether by lists or searches. Saved Searches to bring up notes in the right context do not work - again - which worked fine in the old app. Sometimes I click on the note and all it brings up is a blank white page. I've seen the app just bring up a whole black screen and become unresponsive. Again, none of this ever happened with the old app. Evernote - again, please bring back the old app. Begging. Pleading. Then, put a program in place (Agile? A good QA / UAT Program?) and finish baking a warm, yummy, awesome new product so I don't have to change my signature below.
  4. +1 (regarding Import Folders) Similar to what @turbolenz said, I scan documents and let Import Folders bring my documents into Evernote.
  5. I created a brand new note in the version before 10.0.4 1104831(I updated hoping the note would magically come back) When I was done with the note I did the “Done Check Button” and returned to the All Notes list. The most recent note just said “Untitled note” and was blank. I was sad as it was a thoughtful and desired note. But, also, that trusty Evernote up and lost something. At the time I was using a different WiFi and noticed connectivity was lost, so I don’t know if that was related. (Was thinking the note would, of course, be local and only sync when it could. also, as I normally do, I moved the new note into its proper notebook while editing. I hope this all helps. Sure hope and pray we can get through the newness of all this and back to stable soon.
  6. I also agree. (LOL; probably stated such earlier but memory doesn't work well - hence why I use Evernote 🤣) iOS 13 is when I think things went down hill. I'm on 13.2.3 and life is still not good with Evernote. 😪
  7. I had hopes the latest iOS 13 update would fix or help with this being they state one of the bugs they fixed was apps unloading from memory too quickly. Alas, sigh, no.
  8. Opening a Support Ticket right now. H-O-L-Y C-O-W! I always use Evernote in the store when I shop with my list - but haven’t been in awhile. Obviously, something in Evernote has changed - I think since iOS 13 came out. Today, every time I came back to Evernote (I.e, the phone timed out or I had to my message my wife with questions about the list - always questions!), the app had gone clear back to “All Notes” - making me hunt for my Errands notebook and open my Shopping List Note. EVERY. TIME. Was not that way in the past.
  9. +1 For me, I noticed this behavior (app reloading a lot) after the iOS 13 update. Definitely messes with the mind. :-)
  10. +1 I certainly get advancing the application; such is greatly appreciated. But you can't sacrifice core features that people expect in an application. FWIW, you also can't Right Click / Ignore Word to make the red underline go away. All said, I still love Evernote (especially over OneNote ) and have faith they will fix spelling - making it better and stronger than before.
  11. Thanks as always for the update; appreciate that Evernote is still growing and improving. Today, this area struck me, so, I wanted to take some time to write about it. I took a picture of a document using my iPhone Evernote app, using said app's "Document" mode. When you come to desktop / Evernote for Windows, the "Document in Evernote" attachment shows what it looks like. It's stretched or tall. If you maximize the window, the document just stretches; it is not much help. You have to double-click to open the viewer to get a semi-decent view of the document. This has been true since the new editor came into existence. I almost didn't write this post. I thought, "Well, maybe that's livable." But, then I looked at a "card" I took a picture of. See the "Card in Evernote" attachment. Yuck. If you look at "Card in Evernote on iPhone" (the attachment), well, that's what a document should look like. My food for thought; being that the iPhone and Evernote provide for document capture, document viewing needs some thinking/help.
  12. @Robert Morgan Thanks a zillion for the reply. LOL; I started that other thread last year. My memory was bugging me that I had, but, this thread was more recent so went with that. This issue seems different. I turned off the Enable Instant Sync and that did not fix the problem. You have to turn off the "Title" option here in 2017. Again that "Title" option is so handy - hope you will fix soon.
  13. I just updated and I'm seeing the same thing. Really annoying. Yup; turning off "Set new note focus to title" fixes it. Bummer; that was a great addition to Evernote awhile back. Please, please fix?
  14. I saw it with my own eyes. My programmer was logged into his Evernote account, using the web version. He can edit notes in the notebook I shared with him, but the tag icon is grayed out and will not let him add * any * tags.
  15. +1 I was surprised today when I ran into this. My programmers have "Can Edit" privileges in the notebook, but I didn't believe them when they could not tag. I jumped on a GoToMeeting and saw it with my own eyes - in the Web version, it's grayed out. I want them to be able to select my "Completed" tag.
