About Manic Panic

  1. I agree completely with everybody here. I'm a paying customer, and I don't need my precious screen real estate taken up by some useless announcements that I already get through RSS. And I also agree that the "Evernote Market" is even more annoying. I don't care about triangular messenger bags. And even if I did, the shop is US only, so I couldn't even buy it. What happened to your "100 year company" lingo? Or is your new plan to annoy us all to death before that?
  2. If you are such a serious professional as yourself, then you should know better than installing upgrades as soon as they are available. That goes for every piece of software I've ever come across: approx. 1% of users gets screwed. I've been screwed a few times as well in the past, so I learnt my lesson. I'm a serous professional as well, and so is my imaginary staff. Kinks need time to be worked out. That goes for operating systems, word processors, mail programs, everything. Oh, and by the way, I said "graceful", not "grateful". I am not a tool.
  3. One of your gripes has just been fixed. Please try to be graceful about it.
  4. This is something that's I'd love to see as well. I know I've asked before, but Jackolicious (or someone else from EN): is this anywhere in the pipeline or not at the moment? It'd be a huge improvement IMHO.
  5. That's exactly it! Glad to know I'm not the only one having this problem (sorry for you tho ) and let's hope there'll be a fix for this soon.
  6. Yes, it doesn't work in Card View. I haven't found a system yet, but sometimes it does work. I hope I'm not alone in this, it's my favorite shortcut...
  7. Dear Evernote staff, Please buy Pocket. At the moment in Chrome I'm using both Evernote Clearly and Pocket: a merger of the two would result in a very powerful product. What I like about Clearly is its ability to highlight and read out text, and its full-featured export to Evernote. What I like about Pocket is that it's a kind of Purgatory for articles: I read them and see if I want to keep them. I'm envisioning a workflow where I send selected articles to EverPocket: I read them, highlight text, do anything I want with them, and then decide if I want to delete them or send them to Evernote to archive them.
  8. The ctrl+cmd+M shortcut for sending the selected note to a notebook very often doesn't work. Could you please look into this? I trust there's quite a lull in activity at ENHQ at the moment
  9. I love the new interface. I can do everything with shortcuts now, don't have to take my hands off the keyboard at all.
  10. It works great, thanks! I'm also very happy with all the new shortcuts, I think I can work Evernote from the keyboard only. Incredible work! Oh and by the way, after a 5 min. learning curve and some initial apprehension I'm also loving the new iOS client. Pretty, fast and usable.
  11. FWIW I haven't been able to see the atlas even once. I'm based in Europe as well - just sayin'
  12. I'm using the beta5 and I haven't found a way yet to change the notebook -- am I missing something or is there something missing? apart from that I'm thrilled with the new shortcuts!!!!
  13. A thing that's been bothering me in this great service ever since I started using it 2 years ago, is that it is not possible to set a sorting order for a specific notebook. To me this seems very basic, so I was very disappointed that it's still not available in the new beta. I mean, am I the only one who wants my receipts ordered by date and my recipes ordered by title? My family photos ordered by date and my art photos ordered by title? I do sincerely hope this can be implemented!! Once again, thanks for the great software.
