  1. +1 Been plagued by this issue for awhile.
  2. Thanks! Happy to be "here" @Paul A. I didn't think to peruse the built-in keyboard shortcuts list. Just assumed they should be the same. Teaches me. Thank you for pointing this and Command + ' ---- that will keep me in my beloved Touch-Typist mode.
  3. So, just took the plunge and switched to Apple Mac from Windows in my life and Evernote. (Love it, by the way - the Mac and Evernote for Mac!) In the Windows Evernote Client, F2 moves the cursor into the Note Title, and F3 moves you to the Tag area. Makes you stay keyboard centric for adding notes very efficiently. F2 works on Mac, but not F3. Anyone else notice this? I searched the forms for "F3" and see no such mention. So, am I the only Touch-Typist in the Evernote Community? 😅 Any tips for quickly adding a tag besides mouse (Trackpad) clicks?
  4. Love it, @idoc! Clean! Simple! 🤩 Another idea for people is to use the "Tag" option in the shortcut. I may have mentioned this above, but I have a tag I call "-Radar" I have my Shortcut add this tag and that way it appears on my Evernote Home Page in a "Radar Filtered Notes" widget. Question - do you ever see the problem I see where all the spaces are removed from your text?
  5. @agsteele - oh yes; I know. There have been sightings of them in here from time to time. But, yes, I've opened a support ticket already.
  6. So, I won't go down the road of "I'll leave if this isn't fixed!" BUT, this has happened at very inopportune times this week, including today. I appreciate what @PinkElephant shared above - but I have always expected Evernote to be a system and tool I can trust to not lose anything, or to have to "think" and disrupt the moment with copying notes to another notes app. Including the screen shot of what I saw today. I actually STARTED with "tossing" Evernote and "starting fresh" in hopes of avoiding this. I created a note, I pasted some text, I highlighted, and I'd swear I scrolled back up. In attempting to reproduce this now, scrolling way back up seems to put the note in "saved" mode with a "Back Arrow" at the top. But, earlier, as you can see, I still had a "Checkmark" at the top to save, BUT, it showed the "Edit" button at the bottom. I could do nothing with this note - could not get out of it back to home or anything. I had to again "throw away" Evernote and restart, ending up with this: Now I didn't lose nearly as much as I have other times this week. Evernote - please, please make this a high priority to fix this. Again, we expect Evernote to be a system and tool we trust. One we can hop into and capture the moment. Thanks as always, Evernote. App Version: 10.39 (1125601) iOS: 15.6.1 iPhone: iPhone 12 Pro Max Available Memory: 45.06 GB PS: Yes; I have uninstalled and reinstalled!
  7. +1 In the last, like two to four weeks, I'm seeing this also. Having a hard time finding any pattern. But, it seems like I'll go in, start a note from my Home page and start making notes. I think it seems to happen as I try to scroll back up to edit something - I scroll too far and I think it falls out of Edit mode.... kind of.... the check mark is up there, but, you can do nothing. I think the edit button is also showing at the bottom but does nothing. I end up "throwing away the card" and restarting - to find I lost a lot of my new note. I love ya, Evernote, so not going to "gripe" hard here - but agree with the above, this is a heart breaker. This is my trusted system - one I've always known I can jump into without having to think about or worry much, make notes, and let the Elephant's awesome memory keep it safe. I'm hopeful the above is true and that this is actively being worked. This needs to be considered a "Severity 1" bug IMO. iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 15.6.0, 46.03 GB of memory available. Evernote 10.38 (1125341) 💓
  8. I have a Shortcut I call "Create a Quick Note" which, when I ask Siri to execute, gets the title for the note, like something I need to remember to do as an example, and creates that note in Evernote. When I run it with Siri, it works pretty flawlessly. HOWEVER, I've added the Shortcut to my Home Screen and when I run it and type the text in, it works flawlessly --- UNLESS the iPhone does any auto-correction. If THAT happens, all spaces are removed in the text that ultimately arrives in Evernote. 😭 To debug this, I took the same exact variable that the Evernote shortcut command uses and use the variable to create a duplicate note in the iPhone Notes application. Interestingly, the same text that creates the "note with the missing spaces" in Evernote creates perfectly fine in the iPhone Notes application. 🤓 Anyone want to get a little geeky? Are you doing anything similar, but, always get a correct note in Evernote? Maybe share your Shortcut script? 😀
  9. Super excited to finally have this feature! Alas.... I really need a "List Widget." One that will display a list of notes based on: Tag / Tags (Highest Priority for me personally) Saved Search (A close second! ) Notebook I don't use the "Tasks" feature. (Don't understand that direction for Evernote but, hey, won't go down that rabbit hole! ) So, the current Widgets don't serve me well. Thanks for considering! 🤞Hope to see this soon.
  10. @superjac - how did your scanner / printer situation work out for you? I did a shutdown on my HP OfficeJet 3830 and, well, I guess I should have said "Good Bye" as, 😢, now it will not power back on. I loved this printer - $30 two years ago, printed great! Free ink! Scanned fair. Alas, their Evernote integration never work - and I'm suspecting it has to do more with their HP Smart software than the printer. Anyway, so now I'm in the market for a printer/scanner and, like above, I'd love to get back to scanning directly to Evernote without a PC. Side Note - no, sadly, for $30, there was no "scan to email" function on the 3830 without using a PC. Thanks in advance, @superjac and all.
  11. The F2 key also works. But.... +1 This was an option in "Legacy" and I wish they would bring this back.
  12. +1 would love to have a calendar here.
  13. Say, for those of you who are happy without the “keep source” or “delete after importing” feature, are you seeing Evernote reimport your files after a fresh start? I am and it’s REALLY annoying! 🤪
  14. +1 Totally agree with this. "Card View" and "Snippets" really loose their effectiveness without being able to turn off the Note Panel (again, like "classic" or "legacy). Evernote, thanks as always for all you do and all your help.
  15. Thanks for this. This certainly hasn't existed for years. But, thankful to get this fixed. Was tired of seeing my Colonoscopy Record over and over! 🤣
  16. iOS Saw the same thing this morning which made me hunt for this thread. I “threw away” and restarted Evernote - now things are back to normal.
  17. Yup. There is the option right there on the right.
  18. FWIW, yes, the legacy version did delete the file. I can't remember if there was an option to not delete. That's the exact way I used it - I would scan documents and drop them into an Import Folder. Woosh; they would be sucked into Evernote (where I want them) and the original file is deleted. (It's in Evernote now, so, don't need that file. 😁) 😀 I was excited today to see the new Import Folders option. 😪 But, sad to see the "Delete Source File" is "Coming Soon." I hope that feature comes out soon as I'm still stuck getting back to "where I was" with legacy until that is done. Thanks for listening,
  19. @PinkElephant - THANK GOD you mentioned this! I was about to FLIP OUT when this "tasks" stuff came out and "Scan a Document" disappeared from the "New Note" button. I went searching and luckily found your post before I went on a rant. 🤣
  20. @DLStreit - thanks for posting this. Didn't realize it would go F11 - full screen mode and I was like 😮. I was stuck in this Full Screen mode not realizing I was in Full Screen mode or knowing what to do.
  21. +1 on this. In the old versions of the Windows and iOS apps, a change to a record that changed the Save Search results immediately showed up. Now, you have to force it (sometimes several times like several refreshes / reloads) to get your Saved Search / Search Results to reflect changes. Even a deleted note will still show up in a search result for some time.
  22. Agree. I used several saved searches. When I update a note that should not be in the search results, it used to be removed from the results. Not it continues to stay there, even if you go out and come back into the saved search. This seems to happen on all platforms.
  23. Agree with this thread. I would love a widget to show a list of notes from a Saved Search. i.e., so I could see everything tagged with "Radar" so I can have my "To Do Today" list right in front of me. I like the "Quick Note" idea to - I do miss the "Long Press" to get to actions like "Note" or "Take a Photo." I use "TagWidget" now - which is an "old school" widget on the Today View. It works, but, a new iOS 14 Widget would be awesome.
  24. +1 - missing Date/Time stamp CTRL+SHIFT+D (I think, LOL, I can always "just type it).
