  1. I use them for different things. When snapping pics of my Evernote Post-Its (RIP), or my Evernote Moleskine (also RIP), nothing beats Scannable. However, if I'm tearing through my paper mail or other documents, you can't beat the speed or image quality of my ScanSnap. I hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of additional assistance.
  2. FWIW, a 'new' version of Evernote 7.1 beta 1 just popped up:
  3. Hey Evernote, get @niw a job! …or at least some Evernote Swag
  4. I got a notification, asking if I wanted to upgrade from 7.1 b1 to 7.0.3 — should I take the bait?
  5. Thats because the Canadians are nicer and deserve more release notes
  6. I just realized some of you out there might not be seeing what I am seeing on my end. Here's a screenshot:
  7. I just used the Meeting Notes feature in Evernote Web for my meetings today, and it's pretty cool, even if it's limited to the EN Web Client. Is it possible to bring that to the Mac client, since that's where I am 95% of the time? It's pretty awesome! ? I understand that the Google Juice needed may require a web browser. I hope you can bring back it to the Mac.
  8. Where do I go for my Skitch for Mac feedback?
  9. It ended up where it was supposed to be: my system's Applications folder.
  10. Yeah, but in OS X, apps are not supposed to install without me agreeing to it.
  11. I got the notice that Evernote 7.1 beta 1 was available for Mac. I clicked the button to install it, and when I was prompted for an admin user name and password, I hit cancel (i haven't had my coffee yet) — and it installed anyway! Which makes me wonder: what exactly does the admin username and password do, if not entering it will install it regardless? MacBook Pro 15" macOS 10.12.6 (16G1212) Is this a Sparkle bug? A macOS bug? An Evernote bug? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  12. Keep in mind, that there are note size limits. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005247-What-are-the-system-limits-of-Evernote-
  13. Because of the difference in architectures, the closest we can get today is integration with Google Drive: https://evernote.com/google-drive/
  14. If "Enable code block" is enabled in Evernote's preferences (it's located under Software Update), then just type 3 backticks (` or the symbol underneath the tilde key ~ ) and a box will form in your note. If you then paste the code into that box, it will preserve the formatting in plain text. I hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of additional assistance.
  15. The Google Chrome Clipper page mentions all of the Skitch (RIP) tools on it's page, but it's AWOL when actually clipping something. Is this a new development?
  16. Image resizing has been available for a while, unless I'm missing something cosmic: https://blog.evernote.com/blog/2014/09/22/evernote-mac-better-tables-image-resizing-hundreds-fixes/
  17. That sounds like an old Evernote application moved to the trash by an update.
  18. Probably related to this: https://discussion.evernote.com/announcement/58-upcoming-forum-change-announcement/
  19. That's not the same. You and I both know that.
  20. If I may pile onto this complaint, when the sidebar is expanded, you can right-click on the Trash icon and choose "Empty Trash": However, if you collapse the sidebar, those options are no longer available. There is, in fact, no way to empty the trash with the sidebar collapsed. Not in the sidebar, not in the toolbar, nor in the menu bar:
  21. You can download an older version of Evernote directly from Evernote's servers - http://cdn1.evernote.com/mac-smd/public/Evernote_RELEASE_6.1.1_452253.zip Evernote 6.1.1 requires OS X 10.7.5 or later. I hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of additional assistance.
