  1. You may have better luck using the latest build, it contains URL handling improvements — replace your Mac App Store version with the direct download version from here: Evernote 10.39.6 — https://cdn1.evernote.com/boron/mac/builds/Evernote-10.39.6-mac-ddl-ga-3451-3d1756bc0a.dmg
  2. This looks amazing, and I have signed up to kick the tires! Thank you for all of your service (and RIP for Evernote Food… gosh do I miss that app!).
  3. One of the ways you could do it is use an app like Drafts from Agile Tortoise. Install the app on your iPhone. next, install the Apple Watch app from the Watch app on the phone (sorry, it's complicated). Add an Evernote action in Drafts (I recommend anything with a green and orange checkmark). Dictate into watch, then from iPhone, send it to Evernote. I hope that helps! It's definitely kludgey — that's the best we can do for now.
  4. Ahh, gotcha. There is a way to do it the way you're suggesting: Locate the email you'd like to put into Evernote. Right-click on the email and choose "Forward as Attachment" from the menu. You can also choose "Forward as Attachment" from the Messages menu in the menu bar. Enter your personal Evernote email address in the "To:" field (i.e. "forever1245@m.evernote.com") Optional: Edit the subject field to strip any unwanted characters from the note title, add a folder, tag, etc. Send the message. Your note should then appear with an .eml attachment in Evernote:
  5. If you use Outlook, this add-in might do the trick for you: https://evernote.com/blog/introducing-evernote-for-outlook/
  6. I'll admit I am a bit spoiled by Wunderlist and Microsoft To Do — but a little "bink" sound upon checking off a Task gives you a little dopeamine hit that makes you want to check more things off. If you don't want any sound, you should be able to select a different sound, or switch it off completely.
  7. I'm wondering if going to… Help > Troubleshooting > Reload (or Force Reload) …would have the same effect?
  8. Since Evernote uses the same login credentials for the Community Forum as for my Evernote client, it would be neat to get any notifications for the Forums in my Evernote on my Desktop and/or mobile. This way I'd know when to log in and check for updates on any topics I'd be following.
  9. Ooh, I have to check this one out. Thank you very much!
  10. The only thing you'd not get would be any hooks into webcam, microphone, I think…
  11. Now that the era of the round "Mavericks" style icon has come and gone, can we request a Big Sur-style squared / 3D Mads icon for Evernote? It seems everything else in my Dock is a correct "Squircle" — except for Evernote and Skitch.
  12. I just checked the release notes on the Mac App Store (the only place where you can reliably download Skitch 2.9). According to the Mac App Store, Skitch 2.9 adds:
  13. Skitch notes are Read-Only when viewed in Evernote. You would need to download and install Skitch.app on your Mac (the only place it's available) in order to edit your snaps. If you'd just like to edit the titles of your notes, or move them, you can do that in the Evernote Legacy app. I hope that helps! If I can be of additional assistance, let me know.
  14. Basically, the request is: I use a lot of checklists at my work. I normally use checklists for this sort of thing. In my opinion Tasks > checkboxes I'd like to make a template containing a checklist of Tasks (i.e. "Unpack the lettuce", "Inspect lettuce for insects", "Put lettuce in refrigerated case", "Make sure lettuce logos are all facing front and aligned", etc) that I can then use in a template. So Wednesday's shipment of lettuce (and affiliated lettuce Tasks) are kept separated from Monday's. Any Tasks in a template would then show up under the Tasks heading in the sidebar. This would make life easier for me, and I'm sure someone out there would find this useful.
  15. Hello! Sorry to hear you're having issues with Skitch on Mac. It sounds like your Security preferences may have gotten reset. This article may be of some help, even though it's written for macOS Catalina:
  16. Does the main Evernote app on your iPhone "remember" you?
  17. It's been almost a year since you posted this, and you haven't received a response, which makes me sad. I'm going to try and help you out. Now on the Mac, there is the version you're familiar with, which is now called "Legacy", and the new nextgen version 10. What's neat about how Legacy and v10 are structured is that they can be both installed on your system… and they'll work together. I'm not sure what version of macOS you're running there, so Legacy and v10 may not even run… but nevertheless: This article will walk you through uninstalling Evernote. Note: If you have opted to create any local notebooks, it's important to back these up before uninstalling Evernote or they will be lost. Learn more about local notebooks. This article will walk you through uninstalling Evernote: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314248 Here is where you can download Evernote Legacy: https://cdn1.evernote.com/mac-smd/public/EvernoteLegacy_RELEASE_7.14.1_458325.zip …and finally, here is where you can download Evernote v10.x.x https://evernote.com/download I hope that helps! If I can be of additional assistance, let me know. Stay safe!
  18. I don't know if Skitch for Mac has been abandoned or not (I sure hope it's going to stick around for the long haul), but if you can find a way to make the snippet titles "pop" more while my Mac is in dark mode, that'd be awesome. Right now, it's black text on a dark grey background, which makes it tough to read for me, so I can't imagine what it would be like for folks with visual impairments.
  19. It's happening to me on iOS as well as macOS. I've contacted Evernote support and they recommended logging out & back in as well.
  20. Step 1: I strongly recommend you first Download the "Legacy" version of Evernote, which will not prompt you to update: https://cdn1.evernote.com/mac-smd/public/EvernoteLegacy_RELEASE_7.14.1_458325.zip Step 2: Download the latest version (10.18.3) of Evernote to run alongside of it, from here: https://cdn1.evernote.com/boron/mac/builds/Evernote-10.18.3-mac-ddl-ga-2820.dmg
  21. Outlook's Evernote clipper is still around, I'm using it now. It's available in Outlook's "Add-in Store" -- and works on Outlook for Windows and Mac.
  22. I thought you could run both on the same machine, and it counts as 1 device?
  23. Well, it depends on where you're posting the link. Here in the Evernote forums, if you click the toolbar icon that looks like a bit of chain: you get two slots to enter text into: Paste the giant Evernote link into the URL box, and then the text you'd like to overlay into the Link text box. So you'd end up with this: This is a Public Link Test
