  1. It appears Evernote is pruning the links for these old builds, or stuff got moved around behind the scenes. I have an earlier build that might let you update to 7.11: Evernote 7.1.1 — https://cdn1.evernote.com/mac-smd/public/Evernote_RELEASE_7.1.1_456663.zip
  2. The issue is that if you wanted to really get the most out of your OneNote subscription you'll need to either purchase a OneDrive subscription, or one for Microsoft365 (neither are free). The same with Apple Notes, you'll really need either an iCloud+ or an Apple Services bundle (again, neither are free). Apologies if it seems that I am splitting hairs. Yes, technically both have no cost attached to them, but both are limited to 5 GB of storage, which isn't a whole heck of a lot of storage nowadays.
  3. You can totally set the default for displaying PDFs to "all pages" — what are you talking about? The Legacy client is a frozen snapshot of code. It will not be further developed or updated and will eventually break altogether. If you aren't interested in moving to the new Evernote, that's fine… but be advised Legacy will not work forever.
  4. I don't like telling people how to make their art, but you may want to consider using the newer version of Mads, the Evernote mascot. https://brandfolder.com/evernote-brandfolder/brand-assets-public
  5. Something to consider: You can keep your PDFs where they are in Google Drive, and just connect them to Evernote. https://evernote.com/google-drive
  6. What version of Evernote are you using (Evernote 10.50? 10.51?) What platform are you using Evernote on (Windows, macOS, etc)? Are you using Evernote Teams? Then have you reached out to your admin?
  7. The Apple Photos Library dates back to the iPhoto / Aperture days, when photo libraries would sometimes fill your startup drive, causing OS X to grind to a halt or completely crash. Apple was smart enough to include that feature but hide it unless you absolutely needed it.
  8. Word to the wise: An alias to a file is not the same as a symbolic link. If you're unsure of how stuff works, this article may be of use. I apologize if this comes across as 'gatekeeping,' — but once one starts moving Evernote data around in a manner that is not officially supported, bad stuff can happen.
  9. Kinda… This would essentially taking the completed tasks from the existing note, moving them to an 'archive' note, and then giving enough metadata to be able to see where the completed tasks came from. I hope that helps! If I can be of additional assistance, let me know.
  10. You can read about the new owners here: https://evernote.com/blog/new-phase-in-evernote-history/ As for the Collaborative Editing, it's coming when it's done, which is probably soonish, according to what Ian wrote.
  11. Wow, a forum for Evernote support is pro-Evernote. What will they think of next?
  12. Just went into Help > Troubleshooting > Force Reload and am now getting backlinks. Maybe it was just switched on for me?
  13. This appears to a direct link to the latest Skitch that's not in the Mac App Store, but it might not be as up to date as the Mac App Store version: Skitch 2.9 — https://cdn1.evernote.com/skitch/mac/release/Skitch-2.9.zip I hope that helps! If I can be of additional assistance, let me know.
  14. It is *definitely* only necessary if you need AppleScript support, otherwise — update to the Legacy version, which will let you keep it around and still upgrade to v10!
  15. I recommend ExportNote (I am not an Evernote employee nor ExportNote, just a fan) for your Evernote exporting needs: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/exportnote/id1619621104?mt=12
  16. To piggyback here, there are Safari Clipper updates happening all the time. Unlike Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, they might not auto-update. Check the Mac App Store frequently for new versions of the Clipper.
  17. I am collecting quite the collection of completed tasks However, the completed items just hang around, and it clutters things up. My suggestion: Do what professional task managers like OmniFocus and Things do, and clean up the completed tasks so the lists remain as uncluttered as possible. I don't want to delete them, just hide them (ideally, it would be cool to create a Task Archive note with the different completed tasks, organized by their original note).
  18. To piggyback here, make sure you're signing into your account correctly: If you used a Google Mail account to create your Evernote account, make sure you click the "Sign in with Google" button.
  19. are those your actual notebooks? those notebook titles are pretty wild
