  1. Are you using Evernote for Business? I think there's a way to pass a notebook off that way… otherwise, share the notebook with the new owner, and then let the new owner copy the notes into a new notebook.
  2. There's Powerbot, that works with Google Mail, and Mailbutler, which I use, that works with Apple Mail.
  3. 7.1's got some funky note numbering going on. The note counts don't update unless I click on each notebook:
  4. This looks like an older version of Evernote. What version are you running?
  5. It means it's being shared with 2 people.
  6. Here's a direct link to version 6.1.1, which requires 10.7.5 or later: http://cdn1.evernote.com/mac-smd/public/Evernote_RELEASE_6.1.1_452253.zip I hope that helps!
  7. While I can insert Google Drive documents into an Evernote note, I would love to be able to do the opposite — turn an Evernote note into a Google Drive document.
  8. I believe they're linked to your Mac's local address book. However, check with @Evernotehelps on Twitter, or if you're a Premium customer: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us
  9. The link inside of Evernote's Preferences, instead of taking the user to the correct group, instead results in an error:
  10. For giggles, I wanted to see if Evernote 5 would run on my computer, so I uninstalled everything from Evernote 7 and took a trip back down memory lane. Some thoughts: I can't believe how much I missed the brown notebook icons! Atlas still does not work. I think it's been ripped out on the back end. Market does not work. I wants to be online for some reason. Nor does "Premium". Reminders really pop with their paper background. Lots of neon blue, even though my Mac is set to the Graphite theme. I don't know how long I'll keep it, but kudos to Evernote for making so much work, even with an ancient version of their client.
  11. I use them for different things. When snapping pics of my Evernote Post-Its (RIP), or my Evernote Moleskine (also RIP), nothing beats Scannable. However, if I'm tearing through my paper mail or other documents, you can't beat the speed or image quality of my ScanSnap. I hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of additional assistance.
  12. FWIW, a 'new' version of Evernote 7.1 beta 1 just popped up:
  13. Hey Evernote, get @niw a job! …or at least some Evernote Swag
  14. I got a notification, asking if I wanted to upgrade from 7.1 b1 to 7.0.3 — should I take the bait?
  15. Thats because the Canadians are nicer and deserve more release notes
  16. I just realized some of you out there might not be seeing what I am seeing on my end. Here's a screenshot:
  17. I just used the Meeting Notes feature in Evernote Web for my meetings today, and it's pretty cool, even if it's limited to the EN Web Client. Is it possible to bring that to the Mac client, since that's where I am 95% of the time? It's pretty awesome! ? I understand that the Google Juice needed may require a web browser. I hope you can bring back it to the Mac.
  18. Where do I go for my Skitch for Mac feedback?
  19. It ended up where it was supposed to be: my system's Applications folder.
  20. Yeah, but in OS X, apps are not supposed to install without me agreeing to it.
  21. I got the notice that Evernote 7.1 beta 1 was available for Mac. I clicked the button to install it, and when I was prompted for an admin user name and password, I hit cancel (i haven't had my coffee yet) — and it installed anyway! Which makes me wonder: what exactly does the admin username and password do, if not entering it will install it regardless? MacBook Pro 15" macOS 10.12.6 (16G1212) Is this a Sparkle bug? A macOS bug? An Evernote bug? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
