  1. Hi. I use a text expander like the Text Blaze browser extension, or a stand-alone app like Phrase Express to insert dates and times in various formats. Evernote shows the created date and the latest updated date in each note, but doesn't label each change. You would not be able to see a photo's metadata.
  2. Hi. Try using the Legacy product. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
  3. Hi. On a free product? Try https://twitter.com/evernotehelps for assistance.
  4. Hi. Did you install the Legacy Evernote app? It will run alongside the new version but gives you all the old features back. You could re-download the current Evernote v10 version and reinstall directly to 'refresh' the setup. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
  5. The current work-around is to split longer explanations into short notes and link <1> to <2> and so on down to <10>, which can link back to <6> if its needs to. As you already appreciate linking to in-note anchors is not something that Evernote currently offers, but it may be on their list somewhere...
  6. There seem to be various options if you search... https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/transfer-outlook-notes-onenote/ - depending on how much both apps have changed since the tips were posted! Good luck - when you finally do this, please come back and tell us how it went... 🙂
  7. Hi again.. I don't believe it was ever possible to wrap text around an image like that. Best we can do is to create a table and add the image to one cell with text in the next one across. You could create a word processor document (in Third Party software) which will allow an image to be posted in that way - but won't then show up in your note as an open document, it will be just a file link.
  8. Hi. This question has come up before (though not with 365) - does any of this help? https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/44478-import-2010-outlook-notes-in-evernote/ https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/87542-copying-outlook-notes-to-evernote/ https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/2237-archived-how-can-i-get-outlook-notes-into-evernote/
  9. ?? Create a Basic account for your wife. Share one or more notebooks with that account. Give her permission to edit notes in your notebook. Share notebooks
  10. Hi. It's been replaced by the new version 10. There are third party sites from which you can download the older apps, but they're not recommended...
  11. Hi. This is the only help page I can find - Transfer your notes from Evernote to Yinxiang Biji I appreciate it's not the question you are asking, but you really need to discuss with Evernote how to proceed - these are (I believe) now two separate organisations and your notes may have been shared between them at one stage, but may not be automatically updated between the two accounts now. Evernote are the best people to ask... https://twitter.com/evernotehelps
  12. Hi. As far as I know - no. You could try asking Evernote Support (which we're not...) https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  13. Hi. The installed client and the web version that uses your browser count as two separate devices. If you drop the web version to keep using your mobile and the laptop you'll have a problem though - you need the web access to change devices!! If you find the web access is good enough I'd suggest you choose the web + mobile as your options.
  14. Hi. First suggestion - don't save passwords in Evernote!! There are specialised apps like Bitwarden and Lastpass which deal with that much more effectively. Not sure how your note got to be shown in an HTML window, but if you hover over the top bar and see a magic wand you should be able to turn it into editable text.
  15. I'm also a Filterize user, but I haven't noticed any issues. If you've reported this to Evernote Support, ask them for an update. They won't publish any kind of generic explanation here, but they should update you on your individual issue.
  16. Hi. Try sharing a public link to the note - the note will then appear in a browser window... with an option to open in Evernote but you can tell your addressee to ignore that.
  17. Yes, sorry - I'm not an iOS user: another advisor will probably be along shortly....
  18. Hi. If you downgrade your account, you'll be subject to Basic limits - so some notes may not be available to edit because they're too big; but you won't lose any information already submitted. You have the ability to export notes to HTML if you wish, and some other providers will import from an Evernote account. On a Basic account you have a 2 device limit, so you can install Evernote on a mobile and a laptop and sign into an account on either device. When you're signed in on the mobile you can add a password if you wish. If at some stage you decide to upgrade again, it's the same process in reverse.
  19. Hi. If you highlight the table and copy/ paste it into the email, what happens? (Highlighting the table should pop up a menu with options including 'copy' ) EDIT: Sorry - just saw this is an iOS thread. The pop-up happens on Android, I'm not sure what happens with iOS...
  20. Hi. Do you get error messages? Or just a lack of updating? And if you sign into Evernote.com do you see the updated note?
  21. Hi. So highlighting text and copy/ pasting elsewhere is not working for you? Want to share some details? Tried Support? https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  22. Not sure where your problem is. You CAN use the app offline - or you could easily install the Legacy version to get back to the local database (on a desktop) which is definitely available 24/7 regardless of connections. If you can confirm your device and Evernote version (make sure it's the latest one) we can give you some more specific advice.
  23. Yeah that came out 6 months ago... still updating...
  24. Hi. Sorry - Evernote famously don't (usually) comment on what might be in their coming releases - and they're a tad busy at the moment getting v10 up to speed. If you voted above (top left) you'll have to wait and see what the next release brings... or see what other options are available. Don't forget that if you have an app that will deal with formulae correctly, you can write a paper in that and attach the document file to a note. PDF or image it if you need inline access.
