  1. ...visible only with Evernote-branded rose-tinted spectacles.
  2. Not seen one of those before. Is the neutron process an Android one, or something to do with Evernote / Electron?
  3. Just to make sure everyone is on the same page: I am a user, like most of the posters and commenters here. Evernote are happy for users to post and respond to comments and issues but this is not Evernote Support and we very rarely see a direct response from Staff. Admin and Development staff read posts to get feedback, not to provide it. Any suggestions from us for work-arounds do not imply that we approve of any current limits or exclusions from Evernote's feature set. It's just a suggestion for ways to keep on working despite any perceived issues. Feedback directly to Evernote is available through this Forum, links in most apps, and via Support. However contacting Support will get you a ticket number, a place in their help queue, and - within a few days - a direct human response. Comments here and feedback generally will wait until someone from Evernote actually reads it. There will, in most cases, be no official response. With all that said: the point that Evernote's audio file formats depend on the device on which a file has been recorded, and playback may not always work transparently for the user has been made here. The current answer is to find an app capable of playing the clip, go back to the original device and play it there, or find an app that can transcribe the clip into something playable. There's nothing more to say here. If you're a subscriber please vote above and contact Support; if not, please vote this feature anyway to support the issue. I will note that with a massive 1 vote in 2+ years so far it's unlikely that Evernote will give this much attention. Support: https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  4. Hi. The Forums are mainly supported by other users like me, and we don't have access to any information from your account. As a subscriber you can reach out to Evernote Support and get their assistance which would be advisable in this case - I don't know of any major issues with repeating tasks, but obviously you found one...
  5. What exactly does "not as easy" mean? AFAIK video files can be attached to notes, and -like images- will be played in whatever app is installed on the host device to play that file type. YouTube is a bit of a special case in that it plays its own video in a web page...
  6. IMHO making things look nicer comes a long second to making things faster, and more reliable. Just sayin'
  7. Hi. ESP is currently unavailable. A few words of explanation might enable us to work out what your issue actually is... what did you do? what did you expect? what actually happened?
  8. ?? Create a template with your preferred heading and then duplicate that note or save as a template and apply the template to a new note to follow the style?
  9. Please quote the numbers - and just to confirm; what device and version of Windows are you using?
  10. Show off. Actually I found that if you're looking at a page inline, the file won't drag to the desktop. If you change the view to 'Title' it's then draggable. Edit: -and now I reopened the file to single page view, it will
  11. Hmmn. Back to first principles I guess - drag-n-drop works fine for me in Win11 and Evernote desktop 10.55.2 on images. With PDFs you probably need to click the top grey bar and choose "save as".
  12. Hi. You were posting in the Teams (Business) forums. I've moved your thread into the Windows forum. Have you tried dropping the files to your desktop first, then dragging and dropping from there into OneDrive?
  13. I usually just open the notes in their own windows and compare them side-by-side. In extreme cases it should be possible to export to PDF or copy/ paste into Word and use any inbuilt features in those third-party editors to compare content. (Word, for instance, can compare versions). If you find conflicts arise quite often it should be possible to avoid them completely by creating and editing notes in an external app and then attaching the output file to a note.
  14. Hi. Evernote doesn't have any way to parse the data it has stored - you could find all your scanned notes, or all the notes with intitle:receipt You could export the notes (and/or attachments) to HTML / PDF or ENEX; but getting the date and amount from each one would need some third-party assistance. Based on the current hype, I'd bet some variant of ChatGPT could do something for you - but you'd have to investigate that angle for yourself, and NB AI services are not private and are not guaranteed to be accurate. There's ongoing supervision of responses, and I've had a couple of cases where responses to my questions were just completely wrong. When challenged the AI response was "I'm sorry that was incorrect - I'm only a chat service..." There is another option - a service called Filterize which can extract data from Evernote notes. Again I'm not sure how much is possible, but you could have a look here - https://filterize.net/note-filter/ I use the service to tag and sort notes. Evernote's advanced search syntax is described in more detail here: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313828
  15. Ah - the "are we there yet?" approach. There's nothing helps a support team more than additional help requests coming in that have to be linked to the original request so the person / persons actually dealing with the issue can get on with their work. Not. Any emails you received would have included a ticket number. Can you post that number (from the original ticket) here? We can ask a Forum admin to find out the current situation. Caveat: we're mostly users here, and Evernote just went through a major restructure so even us 'old' users aren't quite sure how anything works now. We may be able to get you some attention, but it's not guaranteed!
  16. Hmmn. But surely we're talking about single clicks here - I'd forgotten you need to sync a note before you can save it as a template, so a couple of clicks there but the difference is three or four clicks - and how often do you need to change templates? ...Hmmn. I sit corrected - again. Have you considered maybe a free text expander like Phrase Express? (others are available) - you can pre-save standard phrases to be rolled out at the press of a key, and even insert pauses for user-input to allow for names and dates to be added.
  17. Am I missing something obvious here? The steps currently required to open a new note, then open, edit and replace a template are substantially the same as would be required to... open, edit and replace a template. It's just that step to open a new note first. One operation different. - And I bet if it was easier to change templates, some users would be here complaining that they 'accidentally' deleted something important and now need a way to recover the old layout. It would be convenient to be able to do this, sure - but it isn't exactly high on my fix list...
  18. Hi. As you've presumably seen, tables in Evernote are very much for arranging things by hand. It's pretty easy to copy and paste a table into a spreadsheet, make any required changes, then paste back - or even to attach a spreadsheet file to a note and copy/ paste the latest iteration for ease of access.
  19. @eric99 - this is more magic than tech, but one thing Support had me try was to temporarily change my default notebook to another one, save a couple of notes and then switch back. Can't actually remember if signing out and back in / restart device figured in there, but you could also try those... When I switched the notebook back to my original default things seemed to be better... it may also help if you cross your fingers
  20. I have a new Android tablet too, and while it doesn't seem happy with Evernote, I don't get this glitch. My main problem is notes or clips created on the Android tend to stay on the Android until I physically sync them individually...
  21. Hi. We're mainly other users here, so your ticket is the best option - if you've not had any contact yet, can you use the chat option via the support page to get some help? (That will be subject your to time-zone overlapping their hours!)
  22. Maybe the bold text in the original is confusing the issue? I tried this in Win11 and EN 10.55.2 and had no issues.
  23. Hi. Device? OS? Evernote old version? New version? What exactly is the error message you are now seeing when you try to log in? It sounds like you have too many devices connected to your account. See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/218558068 for more.
  24. Hi. Did you try different versions of the app? Different browsers? Slow loading may mean that your internet connection is slow or firewalled...
