  1. HI. Exporting all notebooks was never a good idea - re-importing from a single export file would put all the notes into one notebook. The advice with legacy was always to export one notebook at a time, and the same applies with v10. There are a couple of options to automate notebook by notebook exporting using external tools, but there's nothing (yet) within Evernote to do so.
  2. Hi. You can downgrade to Free and still have access to all notes via two devices only. Notes and attachments can be downloaded, but any that exceed the size limits for the free account cannot be edited - you'd have to re-save them in smaller sections.
  3. Hi. At what? The email I received explained that the new owners wanted to put the company on a firm footing and develop new features in the future. They therefore put up prices so they had funds to do so. There have been many other posts on the topic, which boil down to: if you think Evernote is worth it at the new price, please stay on. If you don't, there's the option to revert to the 'free' level while you look for an alternative.
  4. Just for the record - stepping back to an older 'known' version even after an update causes problems is not the best idea. Change made for the update may not be 'backwards' compatible to an older version. Proceed (as they say) at your own risk... And just to bang on about this again; the red screens issue was an annoyance, but there were easy work-arounds. It was not the end of the world...
  5. Hi. Contact Support (we're mainly other users here) - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new for subscribers - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or the feedback option from most apps) for free users. If you have a mobile, support is via app settings>support>issue ticket.
  6. Skitch hasn't been updated in ages - have you tried the drawing options in Evernote?
  7. AFAIK Evernote spell-check is restricted to one language at a time at the moment. You could feeback the need for more options to Evernote, or start a Feature Request here...
  8. Hi. No clue. Try a different browser / another mobile or desktop client? Your browser may have frozen. Copy the note content if you can in case your system crashes.
  9. Hi. We're mainly users here, so can't help with accounts issues. You should be able to get to them by email via a mobile app settings, or https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  10. Hi. Try uninstalling the app and powering your phone off and on, then reinstall. If that doesn't help, please contact Support via the settings option in the app (if it is available to you!). We're mainly other users here, not Evernote staff.
  11. Hi. Evernote has widgets which you can use to show one or more notes on the phone Home screen. Evernote also has its own Home screen, which is where you will probably find your notes... Home Overview Add the Evernote widget to your Android home screen
  12. Hi. Can you force quit the app? If not, then yes - uninstalling it should stop the operation without affecting your account.
  13. Hi. You need to contact Support (we're mainly other users here) - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new for subscribers - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or the feedback option from most apps) for free users. If you have a mobile, support is via app settings>support>issue ticket.

  15. Hi. Known issue, much discussed already: please search the Forums for more...
  16. Hi. The Forums are mainly supported by other users, so not much help with this standard warning. I agree 300GB would seem to be a reasonable safety net - can you ignore the message? If so, just carry on - there's a known issue with Macs which Evernote are looking in to. Contact Support if you can to keep them up to date...
  17. Hi. Don't know why ChatGPT can't see a public URL, but you'd need to take that up with their Support - maybe its a security thing; they don't want users to be able to feed the service what might be a compromised web link. Evernote has no way to magic the system. Is it not fairly quick and easy to copy/paste note content into a document file and then into the AI...?
  18. Hi. Use Revo Uninstall Free to uinstall everything related to Evernote - this will include system files that 'normal' uninstalls don't usually deal with. Download the latest version from Evernote.com and reinstall.
  19. Hi. Your notes are saved on the server - all you had on the phone was the app. Download and re-install from the Store and log in with your normal ID details. You should get your notes back.
  20. LOL I think they need to spend a bit of time digesting this acquisition before they go on the prowl again... and actually I use another app for tasks and happily link to and from there to jump between them. Evernote is my 'detail' store and the other one is dates and quick reference.
