Now Available: Clipper 7.4 for Chrome
BSR replied to Sydney Russakov's question in Web Clipper Requests
Hi @JMichaelTX, thanks for reporting this. I'm unable to reproduce these issues with version 7.4. Does the issues persist after selecting Reset Shortcuts in the Clipper's Shortcuts menu in Settings? -
Clipper 7.3 for Chrome Now Available
BSR replied to Chantal Leonard's question in Web Clipper Requests
Hi @Luís L., thanks for reporting this. I was able to reproduce this issue and filed a ticket with our developers to investigate. I don't have a specific timeframe for when a fix will be available but will update this thread with more information as soon as I have it. -
Please bring back GRID VIEW for notebooks
BSR replied to ericwicklund's question in Evernote for Mac Requests (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hi @adeyemob, Welcome to the forums. The grid layout for the notebook view in Evernote Mac was removed with the 6.12 update. I've moved this thread to the Mac Product Feedback forum as a feature request. Please let me know if you have any questions. -
It looks like our developers have implemented the fix for this and it is currently scheduled to come out in one of the version 6.12 updates. I don't have a firm date or version number I'm able to provide. Do the tags appear when logging into your account from the web at evernote.com? If not, the force sync steps I posted above should resolve the issue. Please let me know how this works out for you.

Problems annotating in Sierra
BSR replied to ChuckReece's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
@zonderkoolzuur; I don't have the full technical explanation, however as was mentioned previously in this thread the short story is that macOS changed the way PDFs were handled in Preview and therefore Evernote's ability to use Preview for annotation of PDFs. Our developers have had a report filed with Apple since the release of Sierra and a fix is scheduled for release in an upcoming update. I don't have a more specific timeframe I'm able to provide. If and when more details are made available to me, I will update this thread. -
Problems annotating in Sierra
BSR replied to ChuckReece's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
I've checked with our development team and it appears the fix for this looks is scheduled to come out in the next 2-3 updates to Evernote Mac. I don't currently have a firmer timeframe I'm able to provide. -
Bulleted list copy/paste problems
BSR replied to Rydazzle's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hi @Meraig, I'm the agent that took your ticket and I did note that I was able to reproduce the issue. Our developers have been working diligently to make many improvements to the note editor for the next release, version 6.11. Thanks for hanging in there. I appreciate your patience while the team works on the editor. I do think once their work is complete, you will see consistency with the way bulleted lists and other elements display in Evernote and other apps. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime. -
Selectively sync notebooks support
BSR replied to Hongbo-Miao's question in Evernote for Mac Requests (Versions 7.14 and under)
We on the Support team welcome feedback and requests for features, and do pass these along to the development and management teams. Our development team does their best to review the requests on these forums for consideration, however posting a feature request is not a guarantee it will be implemented. While the development team doesn't always have time to reply to feature request threads, your votes do have an impact on what gets brought up in discussions as to what features to implement in future updates. However, feature requests are just that: requests. We can not promise that requested features will be added. The Support team does not have the ability to provide the reasoning behind why the development team has not implemented certain features, because we don't work behind the scenes to know exactly what kind of resources are needed to do so. We also do not publicly share our roadmap for future updates or features. -
Notebook Disappeared!!!!
BSR replied to jwblacks's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hi @jwblacks, If you double click on the note.xhtml file for that note from the content folder in your database, it should open in a web browser where you can then copy and paste the content back into Evernote. -
Hi everyone, For those of you who have experienced this issue, the fix will be included in beta 2 of Evernote Mac version 6.11. You can update to the beta track using the steps here: For those of you that do not want to update to the beta, the recommended workaround is to right click on the PDF in the note, select Open with... > Preview, then select and copy your desired text from the PDF. Feel free to let me know here if you have any questions!

Hi Stephen, Thanks for your follow up. I definitely saw your comment at the beginning of this thread. Our development team is still working on a fix for this. I don't have a firm date but I will make any updates available here as I receive them. Let me know if there's anything else I can do in the mean time.

Hi @sasilk and @steve.anderson, It looks like this is still an open issue with our developers. I don't have an ETA on a fix currently. In the meantime, do the shared tags appear in your Tags list on the web? If they do not appear on the web and you haven't already done so, try force syncing the Mac application. To force the Mac application to sync all of your notes from the server, follow these steps: 1. Open Evernote for Mac 2. Hold the **Shift** and **Option** keys on your keyboard and click the sync wheel (next to your username) 3. Depending on the number of notes in your account, the amount of time it can take for the force sync to finish will vary. Please allow the application to complete the sync process before continuing to use the application.

Problems annotating in Sierra
BSR replied to ChuckReece's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hey there @Mike_Rametta, I would recommend submitting a support ticket so we can take a look at the activity logs from your Mac and get to the bottom of this for you. Let me know the number here and I can follow up on it for you, thanks. -
Problems annotating in Sierra
BSR replied to ChuckReece's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
Our development team is still working on the fix for the issue where Annotation Mode only functions on the first page of a multi-page PDF. For now the recommended workaround is to first select the page on the right hand column of the annotation window, then annotate. Here's a screen recording illustrating the work around: I hope that helps! -
Printing Titles in Evernote for Mac
BSR replied to DLS's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
@bobebo67; The fix will be in the general release of 6.10, updating to the beta is optional. -
Printing Titles in Evernote for Mac
BSR replied to DLS's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hi @idagrove. Your support ticket was in German so I did my best to translate using Google Translate. The fix for this issue will be in the upcoming Evernote release for Mac, version 6.10. Long story short, the option to print the note title was not eliminated. I believe what our German language specialist was trying to convey is that this issue is related to a change in the way note titles function in a note. You can find the link to the latest beta version of 6.10 here: I hope that helps clear up any misunderstanding! Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. -

BSR replied to ChuckReece's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hi everyone, It looks like there were some complications with this in Beta 2, but the full fix will hopefully be in Beta 3 of version 6.10. Please keep your eyes on the Product Feedback thread as it will be posted there once it is available: Mac Product Feedback Thread I sincerely appreciate everyone's patience, I know how important this feature is and our team is working hard to fix it. Feel free to reach out with any questions. -

BSR replied to ChuckReece's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hello everyone, I wanted to drop in and provide an update on this. I'd like to thank you all for your continued patience as our developers work on resolving the annotation issues encountered post-Sierra. The fix for the issue where annotation tools are unresponsive/only respond intermittently to markups will be in version 6.10 Beta 2. This should be out sometime next week hopefully. More information will be available here as I receive it. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. -
Problems annotating in Sierra
BSR replied to ChuckReece's topic in Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hi everyone, First thing, I would like to thank everyone for writing in and reporting this. As you all already may be aware, there are several issues with Annotation Mode in the Mac client after the macOS Sierra update. I wanted to drop and and let everyone know that our developers are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. I don't have an ETA on when that will be, but it's a high priority fix. I truly appreciate everyone's patience as we work to resolve this. Thanks again.
