  1. Color Code Note Titles

Not specific to coloring, but may be a workaround for it, Nick. You could simply click on the Reminder (clock) icon of the candidates in that notebook who are actively seeking, as you put it. (No need to add a date to the reminder at all; just click on the clock icon.) These will shuffle those candidates' notes to the top of your notebook when you click on that notebook. Now, you don't need to scroll through the list because you have prioritized those candidates to the top. When done, just click on the Reminder icon and clear the reminder to remove them from the "actively seeking" status. Nothing else about the note changes, but that reminder note status. Hope that helps!
  2. Evernote for Mac 6.12 GA

A user brought up a query upon upgrading and so I went to investigate: Note Count differs from 6.11.x to 6.12. I'm presuming (from a cursory review of the number of shared notes with me) the difference is shared notes with me and not a loss of notes. Can anyone clarify if this is intentional, or a bug that needs squashing? Thanks! (@Chantal Leonard @Jason Miller)
  3. @Chantal Leonard @gbarry: I believe this user's feature request belongs in https://discussion.evernote.com/forum/304-evernote-feature-requests/ more so than only in Windows specifically. Thanks!
  4. Evernote for Mac 6.11 Beta 4 Released

BUG REPORT: two dashes (--) conversion to the em dash (—) is not behaving properly in note titles. Please see...
  5. Evernote for Mac 6.10 GA Released

Hopefully others can confirm this bug in 6.10 direct and App Store installations. BUG REPORT: In note titles, when you type -- it normally converts to — but in the latest version(s) it does not. This is still behaving correctly in the bodies of notes at least on my installations
  6. Evernote for Mac 6.11 Beta 2 Released

Added to EN Mac 6.10 Bug (which seems to flow through to 6.11 Beta 2) list: Hanging indent formatting from Microsoft Word and Google Docs (I haven't tested iCloud or desktop Pages app) when pasted into a note, pushes the text at the left margin off-screen by about 25-50px. See https://www.evernote.com/l/AAsY8uuo1VdEdIrD6k0JVI43fladee1AuNg. I've confirmed this across three devices running three of the latest Mac OS X versions; two running 6.10 public release and one running 6.11 beta 2. @Chantal Leonard @Jason Miller Thanks for all your efforts!
  7. Evernote email address - change

As long as you're aware of the risk! Cheers!
  8. Evernote email address - change

John, So that you don't forget, you can add this email address as "Evernote Email Address" into your contacts on all your devices so your software accesses your email addresses. It's a rare circumstance these days when I have to actually type the Email Into email address manually into a field. Hope that helps! (Please read my note about the security implications above as well.) Ray
  9. Evernote email address - change

If someone wants to spam your Evernote account, not having that ".11242" exposes you to such a potential security problem. They can email in attachments with malware, phishing scams, and eat up your monthly upload limit, among other things I may not be aware of. While I appreciate the elegance of the email simply being your username@m.evernote.com, for security I usually urge clients not to pursue this path. I thought you should know this before making the change. Cheers!
  10. Evernote for Mac 6.10 GA Released

BUG REPORT: User opens a new note and edits the body and title of the note, but in the list of windows, the notes don't update, even after using the button, file menu selection, and keyboard shortcut to Sync the notes. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe this was the case in prior versions. Is anyone able to verify this?
  11. Evernote for Mac 6.10 GA Released

BUG: Search/Keyboard Shortcut related issue, a user has reported to me that on macOS Sierra (on several of his or her devices) using Evernote for Mac 6.10 is not able to get Command + G to jump from one search query found to the next in a note. Is anyone else able to replicate this? @Johnathan Hebert Thanks much!
  12. Evernote for Mac 6.10 GA Released

Bug report: Shift + up-arrow and Shift + down-arrow on a blank line no longer selects the line as it has done in all prior versions in recent history. This was recently reported by a user to me and I'm able to reproduce it consistently.
  13. Evernote for Mac 6.10 GA Released

The user explained trying both shift-apple-[ and the top menu option to decrease indent level, and neither worked in 6.10. I couldn't replicate this because I don't have a OS X 10.11.x machine on hand. Thanks.
  14. Evernote for Mac 6.10 GA Released

I have a user reporting loss of outdenting (decrease indent level) for pre-existing notes when upgrading to 6.10 (OSX 10.11.6 MacBookPro11,3 ). Is anyone else experiencing this? Many thanks.

That's unfortunate for new Evernote users! I just created a demo account and tried to browse to https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action?disableBeta= to see if I could disable the beta version and it didn't work. I wonder if an Evernote Basic user could request Evernote Support to "revert" their account back to the old Web client. Thanks for clarifying, @Metrodon.

For what it's worth on the very narrow sub-issue discussed here about the new Evernote Web: Those who don't like the new Evernote Web version can easily (and have always been able to) revert back to the old version unhindered by visiting their Settings page. For functions the new Evernote Web doesn't have, I frequently revert back for periods of time to the old Evernote Web to get along when I'm not at my computer/laptop (and my phone app lacks the feature also).
