Agree. I found a workaround to PRINT my notes and / or make Adobe PDFs of my notes. My workaround is not as simplistic as the PRINT process before the 10 update. —- but I’m happy I found an alternative. 😀

I truly appreciate your help. Wednesday AM: 10-07-20: Find IN Note still does not work for me. When performing Find In Note, results same as last night. I manually synced. Weird how when I perform a Find in notes, results highlight the newly created “keyword” but shows 0 results. none of my old keywords highlight. I use my iPhone 7 Plus & recently updated to version 14 & the Evernote version 10.0.03. Updated iphone & Evernote at the same time. I acknowledge that it’s possible my inability to get Find IN Note to work for me might be “user error” & someday I’ll discover my error & all will be well. Or maybe Evernote will have an upgrade that repairs. I’m considering upgrading to iPhone XR or maybe the new 12 when it's released. 126 or 256 gb. Maybe. Maybe not. My 7 plus has cracked screen. I’ve had it for 3 or 4 years. Otherwise it works fine. I appreciate your time & efforts with helpung me. Thanks.

In an old note created 9-9-20 BEFORE 10.3 Update: 10-6-20, I added new keywords: _xxx, #bills. 1. I performed a Find IN note using the keywords created today 2. When performing the Find In Note, the newly added keywords became Highlighted, but the search result was 0 & I could not move to keyword. 3. When performing Find In Note using my 08-09-20 #keywords —- did not highlight or jump to #keyword

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn’t work. And Even if it did work, it would be time consuming to add new _keywords to 12,000 old notes. Thanks

10-06-20: I was able to use “FIND IN NOTE” in my newly created version 10.3 note & it did recognize #keyword & zkeyword. BUT, I had same success on Saturday & then it stopped working in new note. “Find in Note” absolutely does not work in my BEFORE 10 UPDATE NOTES, using zkeyword or #keyword. I need that to work in *edit* MY 12,000 more or less old notes.

I do have an out dated (windows 7 maybe) PC that is not updated to EN 10.3. My PC is not updated for all updates unrelated to EN. My laptop is maybe XP? . I rarely use my laptop because it .......is a pain. My iphone works best for me. I use EN APP on my iphone.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge. I’m able to find my way around without *edit* KNOWING what I’m doing. I don’t have MAC. I use my iphone 7 plus IOS. I went to Safari on my iphone & went to EN account. All I could access was my account info. I did click ⬇️ See below but did not take me to my noteboks.

Not sure. I use my iPhone 7 plus version 14 IOS exclusively. Forgive my ignorance. When you say website, does that mean I go to EN from my Safari Browser & work from there? & see if Find in Note works? Guess I should have tried before posting this. I’ll try now. Thank you for your suggestion.

Please forgive my lack of knowing what the icons are called. I don’t think EDGE is a browser. It’s an APP & I believe it’s microsoft word docs? I had to download it for enrollment in LifeLock last week & I got pretty lost. There is complimentary Microsoft AUTHENTICATOR again required or recommended by LifeLock & I really got lost with that when linking it to LifeLock - I gave up. But now, some pieces of understanding are coming together in my mind since I used it for PRINT ADOBE work around for Evernote. if you goggle EDGE - there is probably a better explanation there? EDGE APP is free. & maybe similar to readdle that you mentioned. I hurriedly wrote the steps down to PRINT make / adobe PDF & there are 13 steps more or less. So not as simplistic as PRINT in old EN version. But, I’m just learning - so there is most probably easier way to access EDGE.... 1) In NOTE, touch the “icon - body” top right of note 2) next screen: touch share icon, top right 3) select : Send export & more 4) Brings up APPS available for SEND ( in mine, excludes PRINT & excludes ADOBE) & I can’t get those necessary APPS or whatever to ADD to the Selection list. Old way, all i had to do was double press PRINT & I selected ADOBE from there or PRINTED. PRINT is now gone in version 10.0.3 5) Select the app EDGE from the list 6) So here’s where I don’t know what’s happening, but the NOTE is fully printed in EDGE & editing can be performed there & the NOTE is saved as an EDGE doc. 7) somehow, PRINT - my notes say lower screen , rt side 8MY notes say: Brings up PRINT 9) tap & hold print screen 10) brings up ? “Share” ? button 11) Adds ADOBE to the list 12) Press ? “share” button & then select Adobe 13) Import to Adobe. I have a monthly paid Adobe subscription for my work & my PDF is put in file on my iPhone & then I load to cloud & file there. Can’t use up storage on phone so move to cloud I did this only once this AM & haven’t played with it since. I’m sure there’s an easier way. I’m looking forward to self educating myself as to what EDGE is & exactly what it does. Sorry so much detail. Thanks for your help.

Hi, Pink Elephant. Thanks for your help. Even though I could not implement your method to PRINT and/or make Adobe PDFs, I discovered an alternative method using a new APP . My guess is that the more I explore, the more techniques I will discover for PRINT & ADOBE. Now if only I can get Find IN Note to work. So Far, I’ve experienced two can’t live without features: 1. Find in note (notes before update) (IOS) 2. PRINT!!!! No way to Print/turn into Adobe PDF document in IOS. I’m using IOS iPhone 7 Plus, update 10.0.3 & there is no UPGRADE button on my EN. I am a Premium member so maybe that’s why? Thanks

So, I implemented ej8899’s method of inserting zKeyWords into a couple of new notes in the version 10.03. What I experienced: 1. The zKeyword does show up when doing a “SEARCH” of ALL NOTES (vs IN NOTE) via the magnifying glass. 2. “Find In Note” : Most Important For Me: the zKeyWord DOES NOT register as a FIND in a specific note - it generates 0 results. I use Find IN Note a lot & it’s extremely important for me. Maybe I’m at fault & not doing something right? User Error? I do want to stress that I like the new features in version 10.0.3 . It’s just that I need to be able to PRINT / create Adobe PDF’s & it’s extremely important for me to be able to use “Find IN Note” preferably with my system of #keyword because I have approx 12,000 notes formatted with using the #keyword . Thanks for the update on resolving bugs. I can’t live without Evernote! I’ve been a member since 2014 & I have approx 12,000 notes I updated on Friday, 10-02-20, version 10.0.3. The new features are awesome. The missing features are devastating for me. My husband has his own separate Evernote account, not updated & I had to add data into his acct yesterday. It reminded me of just how much productivity I lost by updating my Evernote to 10. I regret updating to version 10. again, the new features are awesome. I predominantly & almost exclusively use my IOS iPhone 7 Plus for using Evernote. It works perfect for me. what I’m missing because of the update to version 10: 1) Printing ability. I have a paid monthly subscription to Adobe & via the IOS print function in Evernote before the update, I was able to PRINT and/or make an Adobe PDF of my notes. I can’t do this on the version 10 update. I found a tedious work around for printing but it’s wonky & I can’t make PDFs of my notes. 2) “”Find In Notes” I don’t use tags. They’re cumbersome & hit & miss for me. Again, I have almost 12,000 important to me notes. I deliberately inject hashtags within my notes in strategic placements within my notes & this technique works perfectly for me in “Find in Notes” or Find in ALL Notes/SEARCH. Since the version 10 update, the Find in Note or Find in ALL notes does not work = no search results. Maybe user error - but I’ve tried every way I can to get the SEARCH to work without success. I did get the Find In Note / SEARCH to work one or two times in newly created notes in version 10, but then when I tried again, that didn’t work & hasn’t worked since. PRINT /ADOBE PDF & Find In Note / Search are extremely important for me & I’m not sure if I can do without those features. I have faith that these bugs will be worked out & I’ll hang on. And, I like the new features in version 10.

Maybe difference is iphone update to 14? What I am missing in Evernote 10 are the PRINT / Adobe PDF maker function & the “Find in note” feature does not work in notes before update but works in newly created notes. I have 12,000 notes with specially created hashtags within those notes in order to use the Find In Note. I don’t use tags. My method works great for me. The inability to PRINT /make Adobe PDF is a major issue for me. On the plus side: the Evernote 10 update has some Great new features: the added color choices for highlight & font, the new size selection for the font, the UNDO feature. But, being able to PRINT is extremely important for me. Thanks.

I upgraded to IOS version 10 last night & my iPhone updated same time to 14. I use “Find in note” and it does not work in old notes before the IOS version 10 update. The Find A Note does work in NEW NOTES created with IOS Version 10 update. I don’t use tags. I use hashtags within my notes to quickly navigate within the note via Find in Note. I Also just discovered after hours of searching that PRINTING is not available in IOS version 10. I use the PRINT function to turn my IOS notes into PDFs & PRINT/ADOBE has worked Great BEFORE the update. I regret updating. Member since March 2014.

Please tell me it aint’t so!!!!! I turn my IOS notes into Adobe PDFs and I need the PRINT prompt in my “favorites”. Print/Adobe PDF worked great in last version! SEE PHOTO: Evernote documentation says that PRINT feature is NOT AVAILABLE in IOS.

OMG! I loaded 10.1 on to my iPhone. IOS. NO way to PRINT note! That’s a serious issue.

I downloaded Version 10.0. IOS / iPhone 7 plus. I rely on & use “Find in note” feature a lot. I put hashtags within my notes & use those hashtags as deliberate parameters for my “Find in note” & that worked extremely well for me in the older versions. “Find In Note” is a very important feature for me. In the Version 10.0, i cannot get the “Find in note” to work in my old notes. The search results in 0 finds. My hashtag parameters DO WORK in “Find In Note” & are Found in my newly created notes in Version 10.0. even when editing / inserting a “new” hashtag parameter in my OLD notes, the “Find in note” function does not work. It shows 0 results. I stopped using TAGS a few years ago because tags are cumbersome for me. My self-created hashtag search method in my notes works extremely well for me - or at least it did work perfectly well for me until after updating to the 10.0 IOS Version. Any suggestions regarding getting Version 10.0 “FIND in notes” to work in pre V10.0 notes? Thank You EDIT: Change from “search in note” TO “Find In Note.”

I think the only way to turn on “dark screen” is through your device settings: In Settings go to : Display & Brightness. ➡️ see “appearance” & click either “light” or “dark” I like using Evernote in “dark Screen” but I dislike using my Email in “Dark Screen”. So i don’t use Dark Screen. As far as I can tell, Dark Screen is now ALL or NONE on one’s device. Several device updates ago before being able to change device settings to either “light” or “dark”, Evernote provided a prompt in Account page to turn Dark Screen off & on. At that time, when ysing the Evernote prompt to turn off or on Dark Screen, only Evernote showed up in Dark Screen, not Emails, etc. I liked that. Then after device updates allowed control of light & dark screen through device settings, the Evernote Account light & dark screen prompt is gone. i wish Evernote would bring back the light & dark screen prompt in individual’s Evernote Account page. I stopped using dark screen when dark screen became ALL or none on my device. EDIT TO SAY: Now I remember the most difficult challenge of having ALL in Dark Screen, my emails would PRINT in Dark mode using lots of Black Ink & with emails printed in Dark Screen Mode being difficult to read. Turning Dark Screen off or on to print became to cumbersome & difficult to remember to do when spontaneously printing an email.

I use my iPhone 7 Plus & Evernote & Scannable. A lot. I dislike iPhone Updates! A few days ago, my phone automatically updated to IOS 13. I’ve been using Evernote Dark Theme since it’s origination. I prefer my Evernote in Dark Theme. It’s easier on my eyes. Before IOS 13 update, I turned on the Evernote Dark Theme from my Evernote Account Page: PROMPTS: Work Chat. Settings. Dark Theme. Since IOS 13 update, I’m required to go to my iPhone 7 Plus Settings & turn on Dark Theme from there. The prompt for Dark Theme on my Evernote Account page is no longer there since the IOS 13 update. The BIG annoying problem with turning on Dark Theme from my iPhone 7 Plus settings (and not via my Evernote Account page) IS that turning on Dark Theme from the phone settings TURNS EVERYTHING to Dark Theme. I can’t pick & choose which functions I want Light & which functions I want Dark — it’s one or the other for EVERY FUNCTION. The biggest problem with Dark Theme for all my functions is my well used GMAIL account. I’m just not feeling comfortable with my GMAIL in Dark Theme. But if I turn off Dark Theme in my iPhone settings, then my well used Evernote Dark Theme TURNS OFF TOO & I prefer Evernote in Dark Theme & my GMAIL account in LIGHT Theme (I don’t use my Evernote Email Account). Another issue is that with EVERYTHING in Dark Theme, when I print a GMAIL, the header prints out with a Black Background - & the problem with that is that it wastes a lot of my expensive black ink. I guess I can turn off Dark Theme when I print a GMAIL but that is cumbersome. QUESTION: Is there a way to have my Gmail account in Light Theme and my Evernote in Dark Theme on my iPhone 7 Plus, IOS 13? Can the Dark Theme PROMPT be added back to Evernote Account page in IOS 13?
