Looks like it is built on the chrome web browser (if you click developer tools you can see the html) but the web version is actually faster. So disappointed 😞

Since the new version is ***** and has actually caused damage to my documents and forced me an inordinate amount of time to fix, I went back to the legacy version. This one completely ignores the 2FA that I set up! One would think that the 2FA would be authenticated at the server, but apparently it is (not) done at the client? The reason it is here rather than in the "legacy" forum is because (I believe) that 2FA is not being done at the server(!) because the legacy version didn't prompt for it.

And it has become soooooo slooooooow!!!!! The only explanation for all of these problems is that this is only a Beta release. I am going back to the previous code base. Turns out I don't know where to get a reliable copy of the previous version. Evernote doesn't publish them or even have hashes for them to confirm you have a legitimate copy 😞 AAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! AND FOR SOME REASON. THE NOTE TITLE DOESN'T APPEAR IN THE MIDDLE PANE (SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF CHANGING THE TITLE?!??!?!??!?!?!) Now the title is back. What a POS! Nope, only on some notes. I have a note in "TODO" notebook. I change the title (works sometimes). I drag the note to another notebook. The note is now in BOTH NOTEBOOKS????? I only want it in the second notebook. -

I just imported about 80 notes that somehow wound up as notebooks that I can't move! Normally these notes would have gone into the TODO folder. I am extremely irritated with evernote's developers right now. -

I've upgraded to the new codebase. Unfortunately, when I import a note from my scansnap scanner, it tags it with the name of the temporary file. I can easily change the title of the note, but not the name of the embedded pdf. Can I just put it back to the way it was before? -
I am running Catalina 10.15.4 and Evernote 7.14. I have my ScanSnap iX500 setup to scan directly to Evernote. Every time I scan something, Evernote puts the new note where I want it (do to) but it pops up the note in a separate frame (as if I just double-clicked on it.) How do I get it to stop? thanks in advance!

I'm not suggesting that EN have unlimited uploads. I am saying don't put a limit on uploading a single note (the limit will be dictated by what the user has available for that month.) For example, if I have a 10GB limitation for the month and I upload 9GB of data, I should be allowed to upload a single 1GB note before the end of the month. After that, I am done for the month unless I want to pay for it (I have actually paid to upload data beyond the limit on one occasion.)

Chance of a 64bit evernote?
Jordan Thompson replied to sinman's question in Evernote for Windows Requests (Versions 6.25.1 and under)
Believe me, I have. Honestly if there was another product out there that was as good, I would seriously consider switching. I really like the windows version, I tolerate the android version, and I loathe the Mac one. -

I'm not talking about speed, I'm talking about the layout, the fact that it warns me every time I try to move a note, etc -

Sure, it may run, but it is horrible when compared to its windows sibling. -

Here's another reason: Evernote on Mac is really, really bad. It downright sucks. I was using wine to run the windows version and it was much more acceptable than maintaining a virtual machine. Now that Mac OS has "updated" to 64 bit, the 32 bit windows apps won't run on it. -
This really bothers me about the Mac version (this works fine in the Windows version!). Every time I try to move a note to/from a shared folder, I get this incredibly annoying popup asking me to confirm. This is a PITA because I share my folders with my wife, accountant, and business partners. I have all new notes coming into a TODO folder and move them as I review/process them. I can't believe that this problem only exists on the Mac version!!!!!

Ability to use physical keys for 2-factor authentication
Jordan Thompson replied to slamont's question in General Feature Requests
I have been using 2FA from LastPass with Evernote (works great with pushes) and have been very happy with the configuration. I have been reading a disturbing number of articles about people having their sim cards hijacked and have recently purchased a physical key (Google Titan). As far as I know, this cannot be used with Evernote yet, but is that the final answer? Does anyone know of a timeline when physical keys will be supported by Evernote? -
How to view one note in multiple notebooks
Jordan Thompson replied to nickwreden's question in General Feature Requests
It is obvious, but there is no alternative that is easy to do. It would be much better if EN just allowed notes to exist in multiple notebooks. -
How to view one note in multiple notebooks
Jordan Thompson replied to nickwreden's question in General Feature Requests
Seems like a lot of hassle. I have multiple notebooks that I share with multiple people. I just found the "duplicate" option this morning and made a copy into the second notebook. Unfortunately, any changes I make in one will not be reflected in the other.
