So, to do something that used to be as simple as scrolling down, we now have to click on the three dots above the document (which don't always appear) and select All Pages every time you want to scroll down?!?! This is an "improvement"?!?!? How is that the application is going backwards and people are lauding the "improvements".

Not sure who came up with the (yet another brilliant) idea of putting buttons at the bottom of PDF's. This is flat-out dumb. I have to scroll to the bottom of the page and then look for the buttons every single time I go to the next page. It was so very much more convenient to just scroll down. Yet another reason to keep using the legacy version 😕

1) That is why I scan directly into the Todo folder. I can then edit the note name at my convenience on whatever device I have at the time. 2) I slide more pages into my ScanSnap 500 as it goes along 3) I did try the latest app (on Windows) and I have to agree that it is MUCH faster, but the legacy version still beats it hands-down 4) There were plenty of other reasons to switch from my Mac to a Windows laptop 😉

Or, Evernote could fix this issue they broke (along with the countless others) when they moved to the absolutely horrible current version. My workflow is to just scan directly into the app. I am now running the legacy version because it is SOOOOOOOOooooooo much faster! I can scan a 150 page document with my ScanSnap and as soon as the last page is finished scanning, it is ready to scan the next one. The document is immediately transferred into the legacy Evernote app and I can tell when the app is updating the cloud because the update icon spins. I was running Evernote on my mac and gave up. It was one of the reasons I switched to Windows

I've forgotten how much I like the legacy version! Everything is faster, peppier Moving notes Viewing notes Editing notes Adding notes PDF viewing is SO MUCH BETTER Don't have to press a button to go between pages (just scroll) I actually see if I am sync'ed with the cloud I think I am just going to stick with the legacy version until EN developers get their sh*t together.

I am in the process of cleaning up my "to do" folder. Moving one note by itself to another folder is OK except there is an annoying popup that lingers on the screen. Moving a group of notes is UNBEARABLY SLOW! Why not do all of this work in the background and have a simple toast message that goes away quickly when done? Running on Windows 10 with all of the latest (non-beta) patches: 10.18.3-win-ddl-public (2820) Editor: v128.0.16354 Service: v1.37.11 © 2019 - 2021 Evernote Corporation. All rights reserved

The old Evernote would remember the previous email address when sharing a note. I just left my own email address there and it would always forward the email to me, then I could send it along to whoever I wanted. This feature is gone and I can't even find my own email address in the ones that Evernote has. Not all of my friends/colleagues/customers have Evernote (no, its true), nor do they want to deal with a link to Evernote to look at something I am sharing (again, very true), so I use this feature a lot. Can you make this default to the last email address you used (like it used to) instead of wiping it out completely?

I realize that Evernote is supposed to be up-to-date with the cloud, but the reality is that there are times when it is not (initial installation on a new PC, a large number of large items input, slow connection, etc.) There used to be a button and status that you could initiate and see if there was anything going on (much like the idiot lights on a PC or car). Why would you remove this very useful tool?

I finally moved from legacy to current (10.12.6). I dragged my feet because the newer versions were so bad. I see that there have been quite a few improvements to this version, so here I am. I always create new notes in my TODO notebook. I change the title of the notes and move them to their permanent notebooks periodically. This means that I have to go through up to a couple of hundred notes every month. I typically rename a few, then move them to their final notebook. They used to transfer (pretty much) instantly... Now it takes a minute or more!!! This has got to be fixed ASAP.
