1 Micha Hagelslag 2
YES ! Please! I need my scanned documents as PDF. In Scannable on IPhone you could choose that, why not in Evernote ? 1 Link to comment

As far as I can tell 1000 votes gets interpreted as 0 support. Sorry ... couldn't help myself but I really would like to see some indication that voting actually matters. That said, I guess it doesn't hurt. To the topic at hand, the only time I use Scannable is when I need to scan to pdf ... does seem strange it is not in the base EN app. 1 Link to comment

0 Level 5* gazumped 9,827 Posted June 16, 2016 Level 5* Share Posted June 16, 2016 Not seeing any overwhelming support for this - can you describe the use case (or error situation) for which you need this feature? There may be work-arounds... Link to comment

I always want scans in pdf format - the only exception is handwritten documents. I use the camera option when I want to store photos. Link to comment
0 Level 5* gazumped 9,827 Posted September 11, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted September 11, 2018 I'm currently using 8.4 beta 3 and this is what I see for saving images. 'Document' is a PDF. I took a picture of my keyboard - and then had to use a tablet to image a Note 4. Don't ask... Link to comment
0 Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 2,268 Posted September 11, 2018 Level 5 Share Posted September 11, 2018 @gazumped, so the gist is that in the 8.4, taking a photo offers and then saving as document creates a PDF? Oh joy!! In 8.3, it still saves such a "document" as a .png image. Link to comment
0 StevenChang 10
That setting is for Save as Photo. I hope Evernote wouldn't misuse it. I sometimes would like to have my doc in PNG. Link to comment
