Level 5* gazumped 12,053 Posted February 24, 2021 Level 5* Share Posted February 24, 2021 Hi. Exactly how and where have you been required to update your password? If you're having trouble signing in, have you tried the 'lost password' link on Evernote.com? Link to comment
JoJoGold 0
I'm having the exact same issue... Am required to reset password as it has expired (?!) yet I don't receive the reset emails. Help! I've been using Evernote for a gazillion years and have never had this issue. Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,771 Posted February 26, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted February 26, 2021 Basic users may try to issue a support ticket. Choose "Account" as ticket class, this should work for Basic users as well. Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,771 Posted February 27, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted February 27, 2021 Yes, could be a phishing mail. Better check to where the link (it probably provides one) is actually leading. The only place to change a password is by logging into EN itself, be it through one of the clients, or by typing evernote.com yourself into the browser. A link in an e-mail can lead to a phony site, that looks like Evernote.com, but is just a copy set up to siphon off access data. Link to comment

Ex Employees Austin G 527 Posted March 1, 2021 Ex Employees Share Posted March 1, 2021 Following up to confirm that we've recently reset password for a subset of users to protect the accounts. If you received a recent unauthorized login notification, please review the info in the links below for additional steps and info to protect your Evernote account: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004395487-What-to-do-if-you-suspect-unauthorized-access-to-your-Evernote-account https://evernote.com/security Link to comment
yakir 4
Can we have some information on this. Was there a breach of user information for (some) users? I heard nothing about this. Link to comment

I've followed your steps, added no-reply@account.evernote.com as a safe sender but the password reset email still is not coming through. Thankfully I'm still logged in on my iPhone but as soon as I upgrade my iPhone I fear that I'll be locked out of my Evernote forever after using it for the last 11 years. Link to comment
