  1. @michaeldsb please update to 10.61 and tell me here if you're still experiencing this. The update should solve this issue completely.
  2. Summary of changes: This client update is especially focused on removing unused/old code: we are cleaning up the codebase significantly. We included a fix for one instance of missing content. This will still be our #1 priority for a while. We added more metrics to help with the investigation of missing content. We included the same fix for slow note creation that we issued on mobile last week. Desktop was in much better shape but why not? We updated Electron to the latest version, that should help with stability. There's also some very technical performance improvement, which should help making sync a bit faster. As usual, it's a gradual rollout but you can get it early at evernote.com/download. Please, use this thread to report issues you specifically experience on 10.61.
  3. Turns out these are two separate issues. @Paul A., notes like yours should now be fixed. @Babis1215, we're still looking into your problem.
  4. Evernote 10.53.2 started gradual rollout on both iOS App Store and Android Play Store. It's at 1% now, it's going to reach 100% in a week or so. As usual, on iOS you can manually go on the app page and update. On Android you need to wait to actually be targeted. Changelog:
  5. @ees1 please DM me a screenshot of the issue, the client logs, and the note URL of some of the affected notes. We'll look into this when we have this info!
  6. I confirm the problem has been solved yesterday when I posted. You might still see the Syncing paused message in case the client/server connection is having a short hiccup. But today it's working perfectly on our end. --- ⚠️ Important: if you edited/created notes during yesterday's outage you might see them as blank/empty. Data is not lost. Here's how to recover the content: Web: Logout Log back in Load the affected notes, verify that the content is back Now it should be back on all devices Windows/Mac: Logout, select option Remove my Evernote data from this device Log back in Load the affected notes, verify that the content is back Now it should be back on all devices
  7. This should now be solved. Please let me know if you still see phantom users on your notes.
  8. Evernote 10.53.2 builds for both iOS and Android have been submitted to the stores and are waiting for review.
  9. @ppa880 can you please tell me what is slow in your experience?
  10. We checked your account, it was previously on Premium but then it appears you manually upgraded to Personal in June 2022. Then you received a Personal price increase like everybody else.
  11. Please send me a DM me with the affected note URL the client logs an estimate of the time in which this happened in the linked note
  12. I'm targeting 10.54 to solve sketching issues among other things (not 100% sure yet but it's in the radar). For now we're focusing on 10.53.2 that will solve slow note creation time.
  13. @PinkElephant yes, but it's not automatic for all kinds of issues (it never has been).
  14. This also happened to me a couple of times. I never prioritized it because it's "just" bad UX, it doesn't affect reliability at all—and because nobody had mentioned it yet. Today it looks like people are suddenly mentioning this behavior, so we'll look into it. Can you please DM me the note URL where you saw this? (The probability you've been hacked is quite low, but I do agree on the suggestion of changing your password to a random and complex one and setting up 2FA if you want to be extra safe!)
  15. (But the pragmatic solution would be to copy/paste the content to a new note)
  16. Please send me in DM the affected notes' URLs so that we can investigate.
  17. Correct @gazumped. We were working on the Outlook calendar integration but deprioritized it to focus on the content of the blog post and similar stuff. We'll resume working on it as soon as we (and you guys) are satisfied with the stability, speed and reliability of the app.
  18. We've experienced a downtime for roughly one hour that ended ~35 minutes ago. This was due to a failed update to a backend service. We've reverted it to the previous status. I apologize for the inconvenience.
  19. @gboyd note creation time is a client side issue, a fix is being tested and coming soon. Maybe even this week.
  20. Please let me know if the crash still happens on 10.53+. It should be out for everybody today on Android, and tomorrow on iOS.
  21. Around 3 hours ago we deployed a backend fix that addresses a slowdown on the loading of very large notes (for instance those with multiple thousands of lines of text). In some cases they could take several minutes to load, while now it should be back to just a few seconds. The chart shows you the maximum loading time we observe every 10 minutes in the last 2 days. As you can see, it dropped from several minutes to less than 10 seconds (which is still a lot, but we are really talking about enormous notes). Let me know if you notice this.
