  1. The reason we do gradual rollouts is because even with all the testing in the world, it's impossible to test all the cases that millions of users go through daily. So in case we see that there is a breaking change we introduced and did not expect, we can pull back the update. In case it looks good on 1% of people, we are more confident to go to 10%, then 25% and so on. We have no way to select who gets the update, it's all randomly chosen based on the rollout % by the App/Play Store.
  2. This is a big one: except for the fixes reported below, this release addresses what’s likely the most common cause of missing content. Fixes: - Fixes an issue where all numbered points in a list were turning into zero on printout or PDF export. - Fixes an issue where errors were encountered when pinning a note in Space. - Fixes an issue where images were replaced with spinning circles in the note body. - Fixes an issue where notes containing only sub-tags did not show up when filtering notes including sub-tags. - Fixes an issue where printed notes were reduced in size. - Fixes an issue where uploading files to Evernote via Web Clipper did not work. Improvements: - Improvements and fixes to AI-powered search. As usual, it's a gradual rollout but you can get it early at evernote.com/download Please, use this thread to report issues you specifically experience on 10.62
  3. I agree. We are working on improving the customer support experience.
  4. It should support all languages GPT supports. What error do you get?
  5. 🎉 I'm super excited to announce that we started the rollout of AI-Powered Search on desktop! Release status: We are at 20% rollout. We are looking at feedback very closely and we'll increase the server-side rollout percentage in the next few days as we stay confident no major issue is present. You need to be on Evernote Desktop 10.61.9 at least to use it, but I recommend 10.61.10. How it works: You can read more about how it works in this Help & Learning article. A question missing from the FAQs (we'll add it soon) is: what notes get sent to the AI model? Evernote identifies the most relevant notes for your question before passing any information to AI models. Then, a few notes (for now a maximum of 8, might change in the future) get sent to the AI model. As usual, if you don't feel comfortable sending any of your notes to an AI model, you can safely ignore the feature and keep using Evernote as usual. In that case, no content gets sent to any model whatsoever. Well, assuming you don't use other AI features. My experience: I've been using AI-Powered Search for a few weeks. Initially I was "playing with it" to see how interestingly it would behave (it's a language model after all, so don't expect it to be perfect!), but lately I've really grown to enjoy its help in actual searches too! Try it, I believe you'll like it. One of the things I am doing most frequently is using it to speed up filtering: it automatically translates a query such as "show me notes created after jan 2023 that contain PDFs" into a filter query, which is much faster than using the mouse to filter the search!
  6. We are gradually rolling out Mobile 10.54.1 that solves the recurring tasks issue.
  7. Thank you all for your answers, this is very useful for me. If you voted "Strongly disagree" or "Somewhat disagree" and didn't write here why, please consider commenting below here, as it's super useful to surface the most frequent problems and help us prioritize correctly. We're aiming at solving everything, but since resources are not infinite prioritizing well is paramount.
  8. @Sarah Jeans For missing content issues anybody should please DM me: Note URL of some affected notes Client logs (Help > Activity Logs > Save As...) Timestamp (what time did this happen, more or less?)
  9. It's a phased rollout, it will go out gradually over this week. If you can't wait, on iOS you can update by directly visiting the App Store page. On the Play Store unfortunately you need to wait, there is no way to update manually. Changelog: Added support for Android 9 Removed a lot of unused old code Better analytics to investigate missing content issues Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements As said in other messages, we're focusing on speed, stability and reliability, so: 👉 Please report in this thread any issue you might find on this new mobile version
  10. Please DM me: Note URL Client logs (Help > Activity Logs > Save As...) Timestamp (what time did this happen, more or less?)
  11. We're aware of both the printing issue and the "include subtags" issue. We'll try to fix both in time for 10.62.
  12. Hello folks! Quick update to let you know that we are focusing on improving the experience on Evernote Web, and therefore we will not be actively maintaining the Linux client anymore. For the time being it will keep working for those who have it installed, but prepare for it to stop working in the future.
  13. We released 10.61.5 this morning. It's a security patch, except for that there's nothing new compared to 10.61.4.
  14. Same, I just tried as well and can't reproduce it. I suggest you logout (making sure you flag the option to delete local data when prompted) uninstall the app reinstall 10.61.4 log back in wait for sync to be complete, depending on your connection on a 16GB account it can take between a few minutes and a few hours try again
  15. @EdfromMiami, if you're experiencing missing content, please send me a DM with the note URL of the note(s) where you lost content. We are focusing a lot of our attention to this issue, but it's pretty rare and for now impossible to reproduce, so every information we have is golden. Ideally, you could send me: note URL of the affected note(s) client logs (Help > Activity Logs > Save As...) timeframe (when did this happen?)
  16. Your issue is solved in Evernote mobile v10.53.2. What version are you running?
  17. I would like to thank you all, we really want to see Evernote succeed in the future, and you truly help us. We just released 10.61.4 to address that specific issue. It's already available on the website and if you use the web client. It's waiting for approval on the Windows and Mac App Stores.
  18. We paused the rollout because we don't like this issue. I'll let you know as soon as we discover something more.
  19. I just confirmed with the team at Readwise that the integration between it and Evernote is now working as expected once again. This should be the same for other integrations that were interrupted a while ago. Let me know if you experience otherwise. (Thank you @bwydoogh for reporting the broken integration and putting us in contact with the Readwise team)
  20. Internally we are targeting September for the release on desktop, but we are still polishing it and I cannot guarantee any specific date.
  21. @Broos please reproduce this and DM me the client logs (Help > Activity Logs > Save As...)
  22. @Dolly Bodkin please export the client logs and send them to me in DM here in the forums. (Help > Activity Logs > Save As...) We'll look into it.
