  1. We do listen. And we try our best to prioritize according to how many people are asking or would use a specific thing, based on how expensive something is to build in terms of time. In December we've wrapped up some extremely heavy work on more foundational and less user-facing things, more details in all the blogs we've shared. Although we've tried, I don't think we succeeded in communicating how enormous that work has been. We've now started giving product features the love they've always deserved but couldn't get due to the importance of that foundational work. In February alone, we're rolling out a full-size Calendar section, Outlook calendar integration, a better New Note button, a whole new desktop UI, in-app notifications, image alignment controls inside the editor, and an improvement to breadcrumbs. We're already working on /commands, AI Edit, collapsible sections and more. We've understood that these were all things that impacted more people and to a greater extent than some (reasonable) improvements requested from old time Legacy users. If it's just a couple of very vocal customers on the forum asking for something that takes 2 months of precious development time to build, we won't do it. If it's something that improves quality of life for many, we'll ship it.
  2. As for anonymizing PDFs, thank you for pointing out this inaccuracy, it was an oversight on our end. We'll update the original post to just say "PDF and image annotation".
  3. We're aware of the export to PDF export problem, it'll be fixed next week.
  4. I apologize for the inconvenience, there is a bug that doesn't allow Evernote to launch on Windows if access to the registry editing is prevented. This for instance can often happen on company hardware with specific restrictions. We've just started rolling out v10.73.4 that fixes this. You can download it directly from the website https://evernote.com/download.
  5. For sure, for instance we will definitely bring back the customizability of note-view columns Yes, in that case you can just send a ticket to customer support or write in this thread.
  6. Hey folks! Thank you all very much for your feedback! We only wanted to enable the new UI for those who opted in to test it, but mistakenly enabled it for many more users. Apologies, we've now reverted that and you should see the old version unless you opted in. We'll use feedback from the beta testers to improve it. If you want to keep exploring the new UI, you can put your email address here (needs to be the one linked to your Evernote account): https://waz9zvkd1f2.typeform.com/to/tvTldYzV#source=forum
  7. Today we released 10.66.4, which fixes an issue where nested lists had an incorrect numbering when exporting notes as PDF. I reported the sidebar/shortcuts issue to the team.
  8. @Dave-in-Decatur we are not able to reproduce your issue on our accounts, updates keep our setting saved as we set it. Next time you update and it happens, can you please DM me client logs and specify the timestamp at which you updated, more or less?
  9. Release notes: evernote.com/release-notes As usual, it's a gradual rollout but you can get it early at evernote.com/download Please, use this thread to report issues you specifically experience on this version.

  15. Yes, we noticed. 10.58.1 fixes it and is waiting for review from the stores as we speak. Should be out today.
  16. You'll notice it especially on accounts with a large number of notes. I tested it personally on an account with 17,265 notes: almost 5 minutes with the old system, 17 seconds with the new approach. Hope you enjoy the (short) read: https://evernote.com/blog/faster-web-downsync
  17. 19. This release includes: A fix for an issue causing the app to freeze when executing a search with a high number of results A fix for a paywall view not being able to be dismissed by swiping down Release notes in app (we'll enable this later on) It's a phased rollout, it will go out gradually over this week. If you can't wait, on iOS you can update by directly visiting the App Store page. On the Play Store unfortunately you need to wait, there is no way to update manually. Please, use this thread to report issues you specifically experience on 10.57
  20. I added the fix for the back button behavior to the list.
  21. This is odd, the median value for Android on 10.56.3 is actually improved vs the median we are tracking on Android: 1.27s (10.56.3 median) vs 1.33s (Android median). Are you on a good connection? Are the notes you're loading pretty big? Or were they opened/edited last time before the beginning of the year (more or less)? These are the cases that generally slow down note loading. Plus the device, but your doesn't seem too bad.
