  1. ...and you say this on what basis? Please don't post unless you can be helpful.
  2. At this stage I'd say Support is your best (if slow) bet - whatever is happening on your local system is not expected behaviour; looks like a conflict with security software or another app. I doubt there will be an easy work-around, but the Support team should be able to fix it... hopefully...
  3. Hi. We're mainly other users here. Please raise this with Support https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new (be very patient for a response) or feed it back to feedback@evernote.com.
  4. Printing is not one of Evernote's strengths - if you need to produce a physical document it may bet better to start in a word processor and attach that file to a note. Copy/ paste the content or print to PDF if you need the content visible in the note, but edit and print from the WP file for better output control.
  5. If you're creating text that might need to be copied into a Word document, why not create it from scratch in a Word document and attach that to a note? You could copy/ paste the content or print to PDF if you need to see it inline...
  6. If you create an Import Folder on your desktop and move new files there, Evernote will use the filename as the title of the note it creates. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209004967-Create-import-folders
  7. Hi. Sounds like you're exiting Evernote by signing out. If you use File > Quit Evernote in the main window, you should find that a restart will open the app without a login.
  8. If it's a difference between 10 notes or 13 notes, I'd suggest you search for the tag in each case and copy/ paste the note links into a table of contents note so you can identify which 3 notes are missing. Check those notes to see whether there is some common factor, and report the whole thing to Support - we're mainly other users here. As a work-around to avoid future instances you could create a new linked note from a single ToC note so that you always have a current list of your 'fingertip' topics.
  9. Have you tried working in a code block? (Ironically /co to start...) The grey text-only area does not react to further uses of '/'.
  10. Hi. Do you have the same problem if you view the file in its own note? - The file section is a very new feature and typically a few bugs might still need to be squished... Please raise this with Support https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new (be very patient for a response) or feed it back to feedback@evernote.com.
  11. Absolutely - my focus was on posts that use the 'un' word without bothering to quote any details. Anyone who genuinely runs into a brick wall with any process is welcome to post - that's kinda what we're here for!
  12. True, but it's pretty easy either to find a single tag, or to copy multiple tags and delete the unwanted ones. If that's an issue for you, please raise it with Support https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new (be very patient for a response) or feed it back to feedback@evernote.com.
  13. Please read the thread above - Shift+click on the first tag and - if necessary - the last tag in the string you wish to duplicate. That selects all tags - without any visual queues to say that has happened. Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste a comma-delimited string in the tag field of the destination note. Paste the string into the note body too, if you wish to repeat the process...
  14. I'm not seeing that popup any more. What's your device and OS / Evernote version numbers?
  15. Bit late for that, but I agree; a couple of recent posts have made me lose all patience with users (or former users) who wave around the 'unusable' label, claim Evernote is now doomed and do their best to disrupt the Forums. I'm normally happy to donate my time for free helping others, but if some jerk comes along and just starts arguments, that's wasting my valuable time and - which I guess is the point - scaring off other potential Forum Users. So I decided: No More Mr Nice Guy. IMHO the doomsters are just making 'empty' posts, which - according to the Code of Conduct - are against Forum policy. I invite any user to let me know if you see one of these agonised pleas for a return to the Good Old Days. Please don't add to the thread, just send me a link. I'll be pleased to take some appropriate action.
  16. Evernote is, quite properly, asking for permission from the Admin 'owner' of the device to install a new feature. If that were not done, any casual user of a computer could alter its setup and possibly lock the owner out of their own machine. If you have access to other calendars, have you tried using one of those?
  17. Hi. There is no AI unless you opt in to use it. There is a pop-up which appears when some lines of text have been selected, but click twice and it will go away. We're mainly other users here. Please raise this with Support https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new (be very patient for a response) or feed it back to feedback@evernote.com.
  18. Hi. Are you using a VPN or firewall? Have you tried a different browser?
  19. Hi. You could try uninstalling the app / powering your device off and on again / reinstalling, but if that doesn't help -we're mainly other users here, and Support is overwhelmed, but you could raise it with them at https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new please be very patient for a response.

  21. If the account is completely empty now, is it possible that whoever logged into it may have user slightly different details? An incorrect email address or password? It's a 'feature' of the login process that sometimes a mistake will generate a brand new account rather than take you to the existing content. Logging in again (very carefully) could take you back to the missing information. Evernote are very clear that no accounts are deleted,. no content is changed - if something has been saved online it should still be there...

  23. Hi. What requests, and where did you send them? Was there a published process? Were these Evernote forms? See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313518-How-does-Evernote-use-my-personal-information-and-data for general information...
