I use a service to sync todos between Evernote and Todoist called Pleexy. Which obviously relies on the Evernote and Todoist APIs. The service has been working beautifully until RTE was implemented and now this service is completely broken and with it goes my productivity system

So after a while, I'm starting to see a pattern here. This is happening to almost every new note that I haven't opened in a while (probably before the real time editing feature was rolled off). It is really annoying and it doesn't look like it will go away because there will always be new notes. This is a bad side effect and should be worked on as the user experience is taking a big hit. I open a new note and have to wait a long while before I see its contents

I hope it is temporarily as you said; let's see how it goes after a while

Lately, I have noticed that some notes when selected on the sidebar, would display blank for a long time before it is eventually loaded. And it doesn't have big attachments Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

It syncs, but: It is slow App must be open Phone must be on, it doesn't sync if the phone is off Sometimes you have to initiate the sync manually while all the above 3 is applicable If you create quick note from the android widget and closed your phone; the note won't be synced to the desktop client because you didn't do the above 4 steps after you created the note. The Android app is almost unusable for me because of this

Good news, Evernote responded quickly to my ticket and promised a fix in the next release

@Mike P thanks for directing me to this thread; this is exactly the problem I posted about. I hope Evernote is treating this as bug and not a by-design issue. I'll go ahead and raise a ticket about it myself too to hopefully add another voice to it

I could swear that in the Add filters small window, I was able to click at the Tags field and start typing and Evernote will find the tag I'm typing immediately. Now it seems this functionality is gone! and I have to navigate through the whole list of tags to find the tag I want to filter with. Was this changed intentionally recently? or did it get broken ?

Yep, that seems to do the trick; has that bug been reported to Evernote before or shall I make a ticket for it?

If I captured a screenshot of anything on my android phone and then shared it to Evernote, most of the time it wont work. Evernote would just open to the Home page and no new note is created to capture the shared screenshot. Sometimes, getting more and more rare, it works; but most of the time it doesn't. To me this is an essential part of capturing contents on my phone. Anyone encountered this and know a possible workaround?

It's absurd that this still happens. How can one depends on a software to present him the information he needs when he needs if this behaviour persists? Today I encountered this issue, and after a google search, I found this thread where I learned the tip to sign out with clearing all saved data. I hope evernote don't expect me to keep doing this every now and then? And I hate to think of me making a business decision based on a list of notes that is missing crucial notes !!!

Problem is even after the 3 nights of download, you will face another problem. When there is a change to the notebook from another device, the offline notebook update on android happens also super slow to the point that I would wait forever to get my note when I need it. I was forced a couple of times to just erase the offline cache and see the notebook online which got my notes a lot faster. Offline is really unpractical in android right now

This is really absurd. Can't believe they haven't solved this critical issue since 2020!!

I'm trying to use v10, I'm really trying... but man it is so painfully SLOW! Ctrl+N to create a new note, you have to wait a bit until the new note load Move Notes, you have to wait while the notes move Create a note from a template I made, you have to wait while the template loads Nothing is snappy. I get that it is a web app, but look at Spotify and other software which were built on the same electron, they are way more snappier. Evernote, we don't want HOME or tasks, we want the software to work faster and without bugs. Work on that first

The point of Dark Mode is to be easy on the eyes; I for one find it very tiring to my eyes to stare at apps with white backgrounds. Arguably, the best thing about v10 is that it finally brought Dark mode to Evernote. However, when you launch Evernote with Dark mode enabled, it first opens with a completely solid white window, causing an immediate shot of brightness to your eyes for a few seconds until it finally switches to dark background. Very irritating behavior and makes me literally turn my face away every time I launch Evernote. Can't the app be made to open up with a dark background if Dark mode was enabled?

I think you are missing something but only if your email is an office 365 email. They made an Evernote add-on for outlook that works with Evernote v10; you will need to install it from the web version of outlook.

In previous versions to 10.15, when you press shift+Alt+M shortcut to move notes, you can write immediately the first letters of the notebook you want to move the note to and then click on the down arrow key to select that notebook, click enter, and the note is moved. However in 10.15, after you click the down arrow and the notebook is selected, you MUST click on Move with the mouse!! you can no longer do it only on keyboard!

Android OS alerts me that Evernote v10 frequently crashes and is causing battery issues.

Often on the windows client, I encounter a bug where if I press on the "Add a reminder" button, nothing happens. I couldn't detect an exact pattern of when this happens exactly or how to reproduce it consistently. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes when it doesn't work, I leave the note then come back to it and it would work; other times doing this procedure wouldn't help. Nasty bug

Bizarre behavior of something that used to work perfectly. But then again, almost everything in v10 used to work better in legacy. We only hope that as we keep pointing these things out, the devs will fix them or bring them back.

In Evernote legacy, if I have a saved search for say all notes containing two specific tags, when I click that saved search and then I add a new note (CTRL+N), the new note will automatically come with the two tags added and it will be immediately part of the search results. In V10, this is gone. CTRL+N will create a new note without the tags and the saved search results will be gone too. That is a super helpful feature in legacy that I wish Evernote will bring back.
