  2. Not necessarily, I consistently receive a substantial discount on my virus scanner by unsubscribing each year...
  3. Technically, I'm still an evernote user, because I'm still using Evernote Legacy in "archive mode". And after keeping Evernote Legacy forever method is discovered, I'm pretty confident even to make changes to some of the notes there, because I use DAR for incremental backups (each around 4MB). And I can even use syncthing to sync to other PCs + backup as well, and even sync with Android devices (using beforementioned syncthing and winlator - partially tested, though, it's quite sluggish). So, there is a life after the death.
  4. Both the feedback mail link and the supportpage in Evernote.
  5. Mal wieder ein schönes Beispiel was passieren kann wenn man nur einfach viele OpenSource-Fragmente zu einem Ich-kann-alles-System zusammenflickt 😤
  6. Thanks for the link, but support is always a dead end of no response for me.
  7. @jeannette9728miller If you read my post, you will understand that the issue is notifications pushed by Evernote into my app. Has nothing to do with calender events. I suggest that BS add a "mark all as read" option and also stop demanding user attention with popups about notifications when we go to use the app. It does not create goodwill to insist. Having a notification bell that is always in "alarm" state means that we learn to ignore it. Thus disabling any serious utility for it. Also, if pushing new features, please put a summary in the notification and don't force us to go watch a video to even find out what it is.
  8. This is the reason why I don't understand that the web client does not offer the export feature: the desktop application of Evernote is basically simply a frontend performing same requests as the web client... Well, I managed to use a desktop at my office to install Evernote then to export the full notebook as an ENEX file. Next steps are now to install UpNote then to import the ENEX file.

  11. Hi. You should be able to stop and maybe reclaim payments if they're being made by a bank or card company. If you've already been in touch with Evernote and supplied your account details, please confirm the reference/ ticket number you were assigned. The forums are supported by other users and we don't have access to any payment details, but we can flag your reference for a Forum Admin to take a look.
  12. The major problem i have is the bug you have noted - internal links within a note in a filtered list do not work. A list of search results is the same. The link can take you to the Home page or some other random place. I need to get around this bug as 95% of the time I am working from a filtered list. There are two approaches I use, which I think may also help you in your desire to preserve the filtered list. The best approach is to simply open the internal link in a new Window (ctrl+click on Windows). You can then work on that note and the main app still has your filtered list The other approach is to clear the filter by clicking the X in each of the blue lozenges. The note you are currently viewing is normally still in the view area. Because the note is no longer in a filtered list internal links work. When you have finished with the note you can use the back button to return first to the parent note and then to the filtered list. I have never trusted the back button in EN (legacy and V10) but it does seem to work in this situation, although may take more presses than you expect. First option is best becasue it always works. An alternative solution might be to capture the list temporarily. This could be done by using a saved search, probably ausing the option of adding it to shortcuts and then deleting it when you no longer need it. Saved searches don't have to be forever. Another way would be to select all the notes in the list, copy the internal links using the blue multislect menu and paste them into a new TOC note. You could even paste them into a checklist and hence record that you have completed your work on each note
  13. Hi. Mostly other users here - feedback@evernote.com to register your request...
  14. Hi. If you managed to reinstall the app, try uninstalling again with Revo Uninstaller Free, power your device off and back on again to clear any temporary storage and retry the download from Evernote.com. If you have any issues with the web client try this - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/29147324292243-What-to-do-if-you-re-being-logged-out-immediately-from-Evernote-Web
  15. Hi. We're mainly other users here - Support is a little busy; you're welcome to ask your question here, or have a look around the help site - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406218334355-Manage-calendar-event-notifications-from-Evernote
  16. Hi. What address did you mail? - Unless you were asking for specific assistance chances are Evernote added you to the pile of reactions for someone to go through later. I think they had a lot of feedback to process...
  17. Hi. We're mainly other users here, not Evernote. A polite new request referring to an earlier thread would have gotten you a more welcoming response than resurrecting something that is so essential it didn't get any attention from another user for 2 years. It's also against Forum policy to 'bump' old posts, pretty much for that reason. There are probably a million other priorities clamouring for Evernote's attention right now - if you think this one needs urgent attention you're welcome to make your case to feeback@evernote.com (without discussion) or - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new (please be patient for a response)
  18. @mackid1993 I consider the line spacing issue to be an annoyance. I have a bunch of notes that I have written and over the last few months it became obvious that the line spacing (within a paragraph) had changed, as well as the line spacing for new paragraphs (used to be single space, now it’s more like double-spaced. is this a show-stopper? No, it isn’t. For me, it’s an annoyance. Does it detract from my Evernote experience? Yes, it does. Will it cause me to stop using Evernote? Probably not. Will Evernote doubling its price from last year to this year cause me to look elsewhere? Probably.
  19. I had to sign out + uninstall and now trying to reinstall but I can't get this to sign in. I just get this screen and it says if the browser doesn't launch then close and try again. I think it says that, the message is quite fast to close. This is for a windows device & I have admin rights. I can sign in through the website. but the application seems stuck here.
  20. Well, we ain't Support - just other users here; and while things should work it appears that for you they are not, at present. For more please contact Support. They're a little overwhelmed, but start here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new - please be patient for a response.

  23. True but Neither is constantly harping on about how things were. The professional / adult approach would be... Am i leaving? .....for whatever reason. OK leave and move on.
  24. Hello, I need help. I have submitted reuqest for help for a week now. I am unable to create a note in android, windows, mac and it doesn't do anything. It is pretty urgent. Please help or send a customer support.
  25. Also, imagine this. When the note list on your side remain anchored / do not change and you click the internal links, you will feel like you are navigating inside the same note. In other words, it will give the user a feel of having sub-notes inside a note. I think working on Notion feels something like this. There is a page and then there is a sub-page. What makes the sub-page different from a link is that you always have a one-click return to the parent page. (This is just a constructive comparison. I feel Evernote is better than Notion anyday.) In Evernote, this can be solved to some extent by anchoring the search result list / note list. Letting the user navigate freely in the note editor. Actually, this will be far better than it is in Notion because Notion doesn't do filtered list as good as EN does it. EN can have both - Rigidity of folders and sub-folders with the flexibility of tags. (All my opinion obviously can be completely wrong or off the mark). I think this is similar to a much requested feature. @Federico Simionato
  26. Thanks Gazumped, but thats a work around to what should be a regular working process. And it used to work, but now seems broken.
