Web clipper no longer working in Brave browser on Windows 10

This worked before and is now broken reliably and on every website, after restarting browser and machine (while webclipper is working in alternative browser):

Clipper has encountered an error

Webclipper seems quite unstable at the moment. Sometimes it works, sometimes it gives an error message.

Can't confirm this - on my Mac using Safari and Firefox it works 100% and produces excellent clips.

It is important to have popup windows enabled, since it uses them for authentication.

The latest release of Brave seems to have broken something - which up to now is a Brave related issue, not a general problem of the web clipper.

Please read again and change your link - these two topics are unrelated:

- one is webclipper

- second is paste with shortcut in windows client

thank you 🙏

Not working in Brave on a Mac at all.  Doing my head in. But continues to work perfectly in Chrome.  Clearly a Brave issue but so very very annoying. This started six days ago.

I've just been on the Brave Forum, they are testing a Patch for this at the moment.

Four days ago!  NGE by Brave.

Same issue here with Mac OS & Brave.  One thing not mentioned above is that my green EN icon in the tray has a green dot above it.  What is this for (or represent)?

Thanks!

In the Windows browser version it means 'Clipper can see this page' - but if Brave has a built in filter for unexpected processes,  I'd imagine that clipper will still be unable to actually grab any content.
