jadcock 4
Setting an Alarm for your marketing announcements is the worst. I've been a user since the beta days, and this wins the worst feature in 16+ years. That said how do I get rid of your spam? Do I really get to stare at the alarm bell with a bright red number until I read "what's new with Evernote?" or the riveting "Microsoft Outlook Calendar integration is here!" - ummm you do know I am on the Mac Client? I hope there is an easy way to turn this off, but more importantly, don't add spam features in the future. Make it an opt-in. 3 1 Link to comment

I get these in many apps. Personally, I don't mind them, but a way to opt out would be nice. 19 minutes ago, jadcock said: or the riveting "Microsoft Outlook Calendar integration is here!" - ummm you do know I am on the Mac Client? It doesn't matter which client you are using. Many use Evernote on multiple systems and FYI, Outlook is available for the Mac. Link to comment
Jon/t 1,377
I think the plan is to put other types of notifications here in the future. You can always just ignore it. 1 Link to comment

Actually, if you study what those alarms do to the human mind, you shouldn't ignore them. You actually notice them. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,283 Posted May 24 Level 5 Share Posted May 24 It makes obviously no sense to ask for a spam opt in … Have you checked the notifications settings in your account yet ? Link to comment
