Is there any way to disable upgrade prompts whenever Evernote is started?

I'm sure I'm not the only user with this compliant, but is there any way (other than actually upgrading) to disable the "upgrade" prompts?

Well, I'm a paid user.  How do I disable updates?

You really can't disable them.

Updates should normally be every couple of weeks,  and generate a pop-up that asks if you'd like to install.  'Yes' means it takes 30 seconds to close Evernote,  update and reload;  'No' means the message goes away for a while.  Updates still include fixes and security measures,  so it would be a bad idea to block or ignore them for long.  If your experience is different,  please contact Support!

Thanks for the response, but I'm not referring to product update notifications, I'm referring to the annoying product UPGRADE notifications every time I login.

Yeah - looks like @elduko thought you were talking about application updates and side-tracked the thread into that. Latest responses were to them.

The first response from @gazumped answered your particular question already -- basically no way to disable the prompts (apart from actually upgrading) to try to get you to upgrade to a paid subscription. I guess it's the cost of using the Freemium plan.

Also a paid user since 2008 and see this in various locations taking up space:

"Assign tasks to others, and manage them all from this view. Upgrade"

same as having the little head to assign tasks which I can't do in personal so why have it there?

It's one of the features of the Professional subscription.

It can be helpful, but depends on your use case.

@Dave-in-Decatur answered this on 8/16/22 I believe. I used his link to Personal Settings and changed my settings. From there I was able to go to my Notes, and I have not received another request to upgrade.
