  1. At the moment it seems to take several hours before backlinks show up.
  2. TOC is not the only thing that's not working when exporting pdf (or exporting html or printing). Lots of elements and formatting and spacing are disappearing. Evernote team doesn't seem to care.
  3. It also depends which EN client you use. EN Web seems to "export" (print to pdf) somewhat ok. But EN Windows exports only the first line followed by pages containing empty gray frames. I have contacted ENs so-called support several times, but they have decided that pdf export is used by so few customers that it's not important enough to get fixed.
  4. Me too. But somehow Evernote manages to sort note titles differently depending on whether browsing notebooks or stacks 🤔
  5. My favorite feature is tasks: the way tasks can be added inside notes, and can be flagged and get due dates, and most importantly can be listed as a separate compact overview 👍 But unfortunately I can't use Evernote anymore - after they broke the formatting - as I need the ability to share notes as PDF and/or print 😢
  6. Be aware that HTML export is buggy (as pdf export). Some information and formatting is vanishing when exporting. In EN windows anyway.
  7. There is a big difference in which version you are using: direct download version (huge CPU use!) or MS store version (moderate CPU use). About getting help from Evernote: you don't. Your inquiries are sent to an external AI bot, which decides if your problem is worth noticing or not. In most cases it seems to go directly to a trash bin.
  8. https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/pdf-xchange-editor
  9. I have never tried Adobe Acrobat, but have been using PDF-XChange Editor for many years. Great product - however a bit confusing/overwhelming UI. Evernotes partnership with Adobe Acrobat is bizarre. Unless Adobe Acrobat is somehow replacing Evernote's own buggy pdf-export function? Or is the idea that you fix the exported pdf afterwards in Adobe Acrobat? The information on the website ("pricing") is misleading as Adobe Acrobat is included in the subscription for only one month.
  10. Can't remember when i joined Evernote. My account says january 2011 - but i might have had another account before that. It was before "plus" was introduced. Moved my last active stuff out of Evernote about a month ago. I have 2 "personal" subscriptions running out soon. Evernote would be the perfect match for my needs ...if it would work! But unfortunately it's too buggy to be used, and the development is far too random and unpredictable to be trusted. It's so sad 😢
  11. Information you get from this company can't be trusted, unfortunately.
  12. Be aware that there are a lot of problems and failures in Evernotes PDF export function. Some info and text formatting disappears. It's a good idea to carefully examine PDFs after export, to check that all content is as it should be.
  13. Probably is. I got it today. A message popped up, when opening (not updating) EN this morning.
  14. Probably because Evernote support is outsourced to "a third-party AI vendor"?
