Others have seen this on occasion.  For some the photos show up a little later.  Others will go to another note and then back and find it is there then.  Even if this works I would still suggest you open a support ticket.

Agreed.  It is rare on other apps that I have to delete it and reinstall ever.  With Evernote, I seem to do it every month or two.

Restart or reinstall maybe?

I noticed this mismatch between the number of tagged notes on my Mac and the number shown on my iOS devices.  Deleting the app on the iOS devices and reinstalling fixed the problem for me on both my iPhone and iPad. 

There are already numerous threads on this issue.  Please do a quick forum search on your topic before creating a new one.

I saw this recently on iOS.  A delete and reinstall fixed it for me.

Trojan horse is a bit harsh, don't you think? No one is being forced to use this, it is not a hidden trap, and as I pointed out it is quite difficult to accidentally use it.  Several steps are required.  Many are hoping to have an option in settings to disable this.  Feedback@evernote.com is a good place to send any comments you may have.  We are primarily a users forum.  This is a fairly new feature and I expect it may get tweaked some more.

I think those posts may be about the ai edit popup window which is a related but separate issue.  Many find the popup annoying and are hoping for a disable switch.

What web browser are you using?  Here is what is supported on the web. 

After reinstalling, give it a few days to completely download your new database.  It will work initially but will be slow until everything downloads and stabilizes.

Please uninstall using Revo uninstaller.  It will remove the bits and pieces that a standard uninstaller misses and download the new version directly from Evernote's website.

I dropped from Professional to Personal when my renewal came and I'm fine there now. Still, when the dust settles on the new enhancements, it will be interesting to see which may go to the Professional only tier.  Based on how that shakes out I might consider Pro again.

I'm hesitant about AI as well, but if you try to use it you will see this on the popup screen and if you are concerned about doing this accidentally just click on the remind me every time option.  I think you would really need to be asleep at the wheel to unintentionally send your data to the third-party AI vendor.

There is no problem, and that is my point.  I don't have any app that lets me customize it perfectly.  There is nothing to fix since it is working as designed.  You are welcome to request a change to this behavior, but it isn't a bug.

They have decided rightly or wrongly they do not want to be in the low-end market.  Shedding millions(?) of free users had to have helped the bottom line plus there was some percentage of converted users and everyone is now at the higher rate, so I'm happy but not surprised that they are now profitable.  Time will tell if the new features help to grow the paying population and business.

A customizable sidebar and menu would be useful, but currently I just ignore what I don’t use, like I do in all other apps.

Complaining about other users publicly, whether right or wrong, does not help the situation and only inflames them and continues the downward spiral.  DM to one of the moderators if you have a complaint about another user. Please consider that when mad or upset, sometimes no response is the best response.

It is not clear to me if those are links to notes or to specific sections within notes (intranote linking), which would be very cool.

I submit there is a difference.  I really couldn't tell in @janndk's post but it was more noticeable in @Boot17's post with the text highlight.  I also submit that I would never have noticed if it wasn't pointed out to me.  Not to say that the change is ok, but maybe they were trying to slip it under the wire.  I don't believe the update text mentioned it.  I really don't get this movement to increased white space.  At least also provide a compressed option.

I'm on a Mac which should be essentially the same as Windows desktop.  Several months back they implemented a new UI that added white space everywhere, but I haven't seen anything new since then.  Maybe other Windows and Android users can speak up.
