I had this quite frequently in the past when RTE was first implemented but not in recent memory.  I thought it had been solved but will watch for it again.

Correct.  I was just informing that it wasn’t removed.  A setting to select which is preferred would be helpful.

It was moved.  In case you missed it, you can get back to the screen by tapping settings, upper left, and then my widgets.

I guess you didn't experience some of their early iterations.  What they have ended up with is, IMO, quite good.  It is definitely NOT the worst experience ever.  You might consider toning down the drama.

This is the one I have.  I believe It is the latest version.  It used to look like the one PE shows but was updated to this one.  I guess getting the buttons to look correctly on all phone screen sizes is difficult.  My audio button is slightly cutoff as well.

I currently see not evidence that spotlight search (which is an extremely useful tool on the Mac) searches my Evernote notes. Would be extremely helpful if it did.

I would find that useful as well, but considering that is a Mac only feature, I’m not sure we will see this coming.  V10 is developed using Chromium which is multiplatform so OS specific features such as this likely may not be supported.

Please check the forums before posting a new topic.  There are several threads on this already in addition to a blog post explaining the change.

Folks don’t like change, especially if it affects how they have used the app.  I get it but they can either suggest changes or move on to something that works better for them.  Many complained about widgets when they first appeared.  You definitely can’t please everyone.

All apps I use have menu items I don’t need.  I just ignore them, and if you tap on the shortcuts button you will get a list,  so I don’t see the problem, but ok, we are only other users here, try feedback@evernote.com.

The new homepage is for phones only.  The iPad will still show the widgets homepage, which I’m glad about.

If you press notes there is a shortcut button on the bottom and notebooks button at the top.  What specifically are you trying to do?

I suspect that Evernote sets priorities on download types and moderates speed for load balancing.  Someone accessing a note needs it now, whereas someone downloading a notebook needs it eventually and is given a lower priority.

I just received 10.86.5 and tasks now show in the calendar.

But if you check off a task in the calendar it disappears as expected from the calendar, but still shows as due in the task view 🤨.  Maybe it will catch up in time.

If someone asks him directly on Twitter ... sorry, X, maybe he will respond.  Initially I thought it was a mistake, but I'm thinking it is now an unfortunate design decision.

I don’t have it either.  I’ve been assuming it s rolling out slowly, but maybe not.

They have been pretty busy since taking ownership.  Maybe the forums will get some attention at some point.

I’m guessing they may not have considered all of the webpage junk that gets downloaded when you do web clipping.  I have 50,000 “files” but only 4000 documents.  Some ways to filter the images tab would be helpful.

If I’m understanding the comment, this has always been the case.  Evernote will download the new version and you can either click to upgrade now or wait until the next restart.  I think the behavior that others are looking for is they don’t want a new version to load on restart.

The direct download tends to have less problems, so we usually recommend that.
