  1. Right on! I have paid for and used Evernote for years. Over that time there have been several programming 'improvements' that changed some very popular program features. I believe that it was the repeated posting and direct contact with EN that finally got them fixed. Yes, this funky problem seems to have multiple contributing variables making it difficult to solve. One would think that EN could dedicate resources to analyze the timeline of the reported onset and and compare it to EN programming 'improvements', android version changes , and include operating system environmental variables ( (tablet?, phone?, provider customization, etc), and any steps that 'fixed' it. .
  2. Yes, I received the same warning. Did not install Google Keyboard.... I'm willing to pay for a working keyboard, just like I pay for Evernote. But I shouldn't have to buy something to fix Evernote's programming errors. It is frustrating that Evernote is not working on a fix.
  3. Mr. Black - I agree that the problem started sometime in the summer of 2018 for me. Good luck on your quest to be the first person to complete a novel with Evernote. I have given up..🤣
  4. I agree! - I have stopped using my phone to type notes (Evernote Premium, Samsung S9, Samsung keyboard, Android Ver 8.0.0, Samsung Vers 9.0).
  5. wahidovic123 I have Evernote 8.5 for Android version 8.0.0 using the Samsung keyboard. I turned off Predictive Text and that solved the Evernote problem. But, typing anything else, text msgs, emails, etc., became painful as there were no suggestions for correcting misspellings or suggested words to speed up entering longer words. This would seem to be an Evernote problem: either through an update that they provided, or through an Android change that Evernote has not kept up with. I just use my desktop now for entering notes. Trying to use Evernote on the cell phone is too time consuming. Hope you find a fix somewhere in this 2 year old topic...
  6. I started having this problem after an update in August or September. I have not changed the keyboard for Samsung S9. While turning off Predictive text may solve the Evernote problem it creates extra work typing in other Android apps like texts and emails by not showing misspellings and possible corrections. THIS IS AN EVERNOTE PROBLEM! I am not willing to sacrifice my productivity due to bad quality control by EN! Premium acct. Android latest version
  7. There was an update near the end of June that corrected this problem. I had to manually install as it had not been released to everyone. For PC look for vers 6.13.13.7425.
  8. Same here. Windows 10 restart and I get one note to print. The 2nd request for a print out fails. This has been reported Since April. Why isn't EN fixing this!!! There is no reason that the print function programming should have even been touched with the 6.11 update. Where is the quality control? They seem to be too busy raising rates and focusing on Mac & Business customers.
  9. It is now the end of June & I just upgraded to the 6.11. I have lost the print function as described in this thread. What I DON'T see is a fix for this problem 2 months later! My premium subscription just auto renewed.... Besides downgrading and workarounds has there been a fix issued?
  10. EN Windows Desktop Vers 6.11.2.7027. Using the shortcut keys (ctrl+shift+P) or the FILE menu selection (Print Preview) displays the "Save as' dialogue box. This is the same option as selecting the 'Save to PDF' option just above it on the File menu. Is this something I can fix or a bug?
  11. I also have the latest Evernote for Windows desktop program. The 'Print Preview" brings up the 'Save As' dialogue box. Is this a bug or something in my setup?
  12. It has been 2 days now and the mobile version is starting where I want with the most recent note. Thanks for the info on fixing the problem.
  13. Second try - it worked! I'm a premium subscriber. Did a complete uninstall on the Android phone, re-start, install Vers 8 from the Play store, re-start, log-in, wait for sync to finish. Voila, no more pop-ups.
  14. Didn't work for me. That aggravating popup about photo notes still appears every time I try to get to the most recent note in the All Notes listing. Click the 'x' to close the window, the view is changed back to an earlier date, page up to current date, and it is F**?!! there again. Ticked the turn off tutorials, restarted phone, and it still happens!
  15. I feel your pain. In 2015 spent the better part of 8 months trying to get FF & EN webclipper to work together. I would jump between FF & IE (clipper mostly worked in IE). I finally gave in to the Google gods & started using Chrome. Webclipper has worked perfectly in the browser and does not have the hiccups experienced in FF & IE. Save yourselves the stress & more importantly the time. Choose a different browser!

  18. Well HALLELUJAH!!!! I just updated to Evernote 5.9.9.9915 based on the above response citing the new version. IT WORKS!!! I'm not sure what else was changed with this new version but this functionality for clipping multiple Outlook emails is back!!!!
  19. The last reference I found was from last fall when a beta version for Firefox was made available.I installed it but it never worked. I was just like you, I liked Firefox and had it set up just the way I wanted. But my work flow is more important and I changed to Chrome. Maybe other people have found a solution or have been able to get the FF clipper to work. I preferred that version but having something that works vs. nothing trumped that preference. Good luck!
  20. Posted just now · Report post Good for you for continuing to try. I have given up and am now using Chrome and the associated clipped. It all works very well. My only complaint is that the Chrome clipper only sends the content to the web version of EN not to the desktop client. This is intentional and will not be changed according to previous notes on this from EN. So you need to sync more often if you are working on a project.
  21. Peterfoliant, Thanks for the workaround ideas. I use Windows. But I have already spent more hours than a paying user should have to trying to get the Web Clipper to work in Firefox and IE. I am now using Chrome and it works - albeit rather slowly. Hmm, do you think EN has a deal with Google to force users in their direction? (LOL - or grain of truth?) The complete lack of support from EN for Firefox and the fact that Web Clipper was not listed in their extension library makes one wonder....
  22. I completely uninstalled FF today as it appears that EWC will never work in that browser. I tried several different things to make sure it wasn't something in my settings: uninstall/reinstall FF and the EWC, ensure FF is updated, change FF settings for less security (went to defaults), turned off ad blocking add-ons, etc. Nothing worked through all of the various re-boots & installations. EN has been very quiet of late on this problem. I feel confident that my Windows 7 64 bit machine is completely up to date as is my anti-virus and firewall. Since EWC is so slow in IE I have changed my work flow and don't use EN that much anymore. I'm back to bookmarking & printing selections of webpages. In fact my use of EN has become so reduced that there is no value in continuing the paid version subscription when it comes due. EWC is not the only factor in my reduced usage. I have had several issues with syncing, variation in the number of notes between my computer and the servers, backup and recovery issues that ate an entire week of spare time. It isn't entirely clear what has happened to EN but the quality is no longer there. Programmers are removing popular features to 'enhance work flow' (not sure whose work flow they analyzed) , new versions are being released that cause user's interaction with the program to crash, premium support is very slow to respond and then there are different answers to the same question. The new Company president solicited input a few months back. I gave some but have not heard any acknowledgement that it was received, let alone that the problems are being worked on. EN has become just another company that took a really good product and engineered into something mediocre.
  23. I'm still having problems with Web Clipper 6.1 and Firefox current version (now 43). The option does not appear in the 'Tools' menu, nor in the right click menu options. Back to IE as my default browser where the Clipper works but is PAINFULLY slow and hangs the system sometimes. Hmm, maybe Web clipper isn't meant to be a useful tool....
  24. Thanks for posting this. I had stopped using FF since the web clipper wasn't working while it did so in IE.
