I haven’t heard anything but I can’t speak for all experts. Full disclosure. I’ve been kind of absent from expert communications and get together due to a family illness so I could have missed something.

I tried that and it does work. It’s a long story but I reached out to someone at OneNote and had a bad experience with it. Like condescending, if you don’t like it by a Windows machine or use a different browser type response. I wasn’t looking for them to rebuild the clipper. I know they dropped it because Apple changed things up but that particular person‘s response turned me off of OneNote and subsequently all Microsoft products. I refuse to use them now. If they have just been decent in their interaction, I would probably have it in my arsenal of tools but because of that one person I will never recommend or use their products to someone that doesn't use them already. 
 

But then again, I'm the type of person that I rarely forgive, and I don't forget, especially with businesses that treat their customers that way. 
 

I am not even going to get started on my current opinion of the whole situation with Evernote. I'm waiting to see where it goes and what bending spoons response is but it's not looking good.

If you are on Mac it doesn't. OneNote is missing features on the actual app and they did away with the Safari web clipper years ago with promises to bring it back and never did. I brought over a lot of educational people then and now I'll have to move them back out to something else, which honestly will probably be notion because they have a great education plan.

As an Expert I'm hanging around to see what plays out, but I have already started looking for an alternative for my personal use.

As an aside, prior to using the Windows app, I was primarily an iOS user and had multiple templates saved on my iPhone that seemingly were not transferred into my templates on the Windows app. Does shifting operating systems not allow for saved templates to transfer over? 

How many templates do you have saved? I believe there is a limit in place of either 20 or 25.

While I hate to see anybody laid off, the minute I heard about the acquisition, I saw it coming. Maybe it's my perspective, but the number of community leaders that they have gone through over the years and the increase in swaps more recently showed that there were issues. It makes sense that a new company looking to make it profitable would make changes.

Una vez que hayas desactivado tu cuenta de Evernote Teams, seguirás teniendo acceso al contenido del equipo hasta el final del período de facturación actual. Al final del período de facturación, usted y todos los demás usuarios serán eliminados de la cuenta.

Si planeas cancelar la cuenta de Teams, debes hacer una copia de seguridad de tus notas antes de hacerlo o las perderás.

Within a notebook, is it possible to embed a URL for another notebook or note that is in another space? 

You can link to notes from one space to another on the teams account. I do it all the time. Notebooks do not link, though it would be a great idea.

Dumping the data happens by itself, and the rebuild of the database as well. I wouldn‘t do it if I know that I will go offline with my MacBook later, but apart of this I have to check on network traffic to see there is something happening in the background.

As long as the content is not downloaded, it works similar to the mobile client: When you open still not downloaded content, it will fetch it from the server. Takes a split second, and then it opens. So rebuilding the database is no problem, but it often helps to fix issues.

I know how to do it, just not a pressing issue while right in the middle of using EN during a whole home Reno. And again, it's really not that much of an issue for me. Probably wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't seen a post about it. 

I was asking in case clients have the issue, which I'm thinking they don't because nobody has reached out.

Lol I'm not that determined to have it there. I rarely go into my settings lol. It will show up eventually.

Tried all the tweets and steps and still nada  I did mention it to staff so we shall wait and see.

Outlook and Apple Calendars are on the roadmap with Outlook features coming first as there is more of a demand for it. No dates, but it has been mentioned by staff here in the forums as others have pointed out. I know it's frustrating with no timeframe, but it is coming.

There has been another release since this one. I went from the one before this straight to the one released that was mentioned in a post about 19 hours ago. There is no gear icon in the App Store version or the direct download.

Just wanted to mention that this seems to be an issue that is randomly showing up for users. When I tested the steps that @ranzzit mentioned above I used keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste and it worked fine. Now, I should mention to be transparent that I am running a developers beta of macOS and iOS and haven't had this issue. Usually it's the other way around when I have something break and I know it's due to the beta.

Probably nobody did this for the the new plans, since they did not issue any new points for a long time.

I would ask support for an individual solution.

Support will give the same answer about a different system and points not being able to be used. I've been there done that. I do believe you are right on the amount that was needed for premium though. I think the disconnect is that the newer plan is a different price than what the points were issued for. Easy enough to figure out the math but maybe not easy on the backend to convert with the processing? I don't know. I just know that I'm good for a while either way lol.

What reduces its value further is the missing zoom on iPad. Funnily on the iPhone zoom works. So you either use the pencil with a big screen frozen in full page view, or your fingers on a small screen that can zoom in.

The iPhone thing is a very good point. I can honestly  say I have never checked it since the issue on the iPad since the phone screen is so small. It didn't even occur to me to do so until you said something.

I have 8 years of points on my personal account. Ran into the same issue.

You have the same annotation tools (plus some more) when you export the pdf outside of EN, and use the free Skitch app provided by EN in the AppStore. It has the zooming capability that is missing in the embedded code.

It missing now. It didn't use to be. I used to do all annotation and markup within Evernote on the v10 iPad app and it just stopped working one day. Let support know but it's still not working. I agree that there are better tools to use than the in app annotation and I have a process for that, it's just odd that it was fine one day and not the next. It's not real high up on my list of things to complain about though.
