New notes disappearing

Hi all,

This problem has only appeared in the past couple days. I share an account with several other team members, and this problem has never occurred in the past. What is happening is that I am creating several new notes, making certain that they sync, and then a few hours later, all notes created after a certain point in time have disappeared. When I check my activity log, there is a record of the notes being created and cached, but they are nowhere else to be found. This applies to both the browser and desktop client versions of evernote. Any ideas out there?

A quick update, checking my Activity log, I see that these notes have been 'expunged'. Below is the activity log for the minute during which this happened:

I was going to suggest looking for your notes. but you've already found they were "expunged"

Anybody on the team deleting the notes without your knowledge, accidentally or otherwise?

Hey @manny04,

When the activity log shows a note has been expunged, this means it's been deleted and then the Trash notebook has been emptied. If you're sharing one Evernote account amongst yourselves, I would recommend each user creates their own Evernote account and you share the notebook with them. When you share a notebook to another Evernote user and they delete a note, knowingly or unknowingly, it will automatically go to your Trash notebook and you can restore the content if you need to.

This is exactly the same happen to me in the last few days. I created few notes, and come back next day found them all gone. Today I created a note, and then worked on some other note. Then I found that the note I just created disappear. Looking at the log, I found it was syncing with the server and "expundged" my local note. Don't know why it does that. I checked the trash and it is not there.  I also checked the sharing status of all my notes using "sharedate:*" and found an old note that was shared but nothing else. (This also brings up another issue with shared notes: I know that I have shared several notes with friends, but now it can only find one, which raise another alarm").

Anyway, with thing going like this, I am not sure I can trust Evernote for my note anymore (After all, it is "EVER"note, right?)
