Analyst444 182
I created a public link to one of my Notebooks using the Windows version of EN. I want to share it with a bunch of people who do not have EN accounts and do not have any experience with EN. I can email the URL for the public Notebook to each of the people. However, in testing this, I find that it sends a person to a page on the web that gives them the option of "Join This Notebook" or "View This Notebook". If they choose the first option, the would have to create an EN account. I don't want that to happen. If they choose the second option, the Notebook opens up in the web version of EN. I don't really like that. It is going to confuse/overwhelm them - TMI. I'd prefer that these people only see one Note at a time. (I put a link at the top of each of the near 100 Notes in the Notebook that takes the user to the "Table of Contents" where every item on the list is a link to a particular Note. This makes the navigation from Note to Note fairly easy.) So, my first question is, How do I set it up so that the user will see only one Note in my public Notebook at a time and only the Note? (I know it is possible to share a public Note with someone, but I don't want to go to the trouble to do that. There are many Notes and many people.) If it is not possible to do what I describe above, How to I "Copy Note Links" in my Windows EN version correctly? Apparently, I didn't do it right. Now, when a user clicks in the web EN on a link that I created in Windows EN, it take the user to EN "Create an Account" screen. Link to comment
