(Archived) no pdf clipping in new web clipper

Using Chrome on Windows 7. I don't see how to save a PDF with the new web clipper. I tried several of the options but got garbage notes that I had to delete.

I had to save the pdf to my hard drive, open the desktop evernote, create a new note and attach the file. I'd much rather have the old clipper where all I had to do was click on the clipper icon and hit save.

I agree that I miss this functionality.

In the meantime I've gone back to my old workaround for this . . . a folder configured in Evernote as an Import Folder (Tools -> Import Folder in the Evernote Windows client).  Then if you save the pdf in that folder the rest is automatic.

Is this issue still active?

I'm having the same issue today trying to clip this:

https://www.hkex.com.hk/eng/exchange/corpinfo/history/documents/hkex-01e.pdf

And I remember my wife mentioning the same thing (different PDF/URL) the other day

On Mac (Mountain Lion) + Chrome (Version 31.0.1650.63) and Build ID: c3984a1/1.0.1.250 on Web Clipper extension option screen

I've been using the http://discussion.evernote.com/topic/48016-chrome-safari-clipper-beta-with-gmail-clipping-rewrite/ with no problems (can't HTML highlight for now, but I can live without that) your URL works just fine using that beta w Mac Mavericks and Chrome
