About jezrtw

  1. Is this issue still active? I'm having the same issue today trying to clip this: https://www.hkex.com.hk/eng/exchange/corpinfo/history/documents/hkex-01e.pdf And I remember my wife mentioning the same thing (different PDF/URL) the other day On Mac (Mountain Lion) + Chrome (Version 31.0.1650.63) and Build ID: c3984a1/1.0.1.250 on Web Clipper extension option screen
  2. +1 here... I was surprised to see that you cannot do this. I've recently started using color tagging on the mac and was thinking the same concept would be great for EN Agree with deborah0302 on how it would make it easier to identify the note immediately when multiple notes are open
  3. Just some additional info. I was doing more testing yesterday and at one point I saw the blue rectangle caption saying "Searching through Evernote" or something like this and then (really quickly after that) told me how many notes it had found... However, there was still a longer delay (300-500 ms) in appending the "blue rectangle" and shifting the actual google results down the page. Note that at the moment I have a very small number of notes, which I am guesing impacts the response time?
  4. Summary: When performing Google Search, append the "Notes found" blue rectangle on top of google results straight away to cancel the lag that shifts google results down I am a recent user - not sure that this is the best place for this request - could not find a dedicated feature request section. My problem is the following: I want to have Evernote being searched when I perform a google search. Currently, as I am using the Chrome extension, the Google results page shows up near instantly, and a few instants later, the Evernote extension adds this blue rectangle saying how many notes it has found on Evernote. That's great, except for the delay that shifts all the google results down once the blue square is added to the page - my eyes have to readjust as they have already started scanning the google results who have just moved. If I have already decided on clicking on the first result from google, the link to matching Evernote records takes its place and I click on it inadvertently... Not sure if this could be solved easily by adding a placeholder for the blue rectangle - maybe saying something like "Searching through Evernote" as soon as the google results page is shown on my browser (and already shifting the results) - with the text being updated after the search is performed. I have only been trying this extension for a few hours and after the first "wow - that's cool", this actually feels a bit in the way when doing many searches. Side question: does the extension actually query my evernote client on my mac or evernote web? Details: MBP from 2010 Processor Speed: 2.53 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 Memory: 4 GB Mac OS X 10.6.8 Chrome 13.0.782.215 Clip to Evernote extension Version: 5.1.15.1534 Delay seems to be around 300-500 ms (between the google results page showing and the blue rectangle being appended) Connection speed: around 1MB/sec Cheers Jez
