Love that it is a European contest with a prize in US dollars - more of you lot should get passports and broaden the mind a little....

You should enter Metrodon. I think being paid in US dollars is favorable to the Europeans due to the current exchange rate. I do have my passport and off to blighty next June

"Blighty" sounds like such a magical place.

I can't draw for toffee, you'd end up with an elephant that looks like it has been in a particularly nasty car crash.

I spend a couple of months a year on your side of the pond so the cash would be handy for cheap Levis though....

June is a great month for beer over here.

June is a great month for beer over here.

Are there any bad months for beer?

Maybe "Brainy" would be better (I was in London during the Mad Cow Disease ruckus a few years ago).

I was in Miami during the same period, they made us walk through disinfectant when we got off the plane and everyone was asked when we were last on a farm.....

Still friendlier than those lovely TSA people are now.....

We had to do something similar on our way back in to the States.

In general, I agree on the TSA stuff, but our last two trips (Italy and California),we had no unpleasantness on that front. I still don't trust them, though.

Trust me, you don't want to be a non-US citizen coming into the US 3 or 4 or 5 times a year.... They seem to take great delight in messing with me....

I walk up to the TSA guy as the very epitome of a British Gent, I walk away as the angry Scottish ***** that I am.
