Iakovulkin 0
Hi, I'm former citizen of Russian Federation. Started using Evernote in 2017, registered in account primkiter.ru@gmail.com That time I was in Russia. Recently I've become citizen (got passport) of Kyrgyzstan (Central Asia country). I live in Mauritius since October 2022. A couple of days ago I've changed my account email in Evernote to iakovulkin@gmail.com Today I've reached the limit of free notes (20) and so decided to switch to Evernote Personal. However, when I try to buy Evernote Personal, I see the notification that "Google Pay is not working in Russia". This is quite strange, because right now I'm in Mauritius. Also, I've checked Google Pay settings for my iakovulkin@gmail.com - the country is Mauritius and debit cards connected are Kyrgyzsytan cards. I sucessfully use this Google Pay account for paying in other web services. It looks like Evernote still treats me as citizen of Russia and transfers this info to Google Pay, or transfers info about my former email. How to solve this problem and to buy Evernote Personal via my Google Pay? Or, how can I buy Evernote Personal not using Google Pay? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,076 Posted January 9 Level 5* Share Posted January 9 Sorry but all payment queries have to be dealt with by Support - most of us here are other users - and Support have been very very busy for weeks. If you can pay by another means, maybe that will work - but otherwise you would have to contact Support. Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,061 Posted January 9 Evernote Expert Share Posted January 9 This is more likely a Google Play issue. So worth asking for help there. Link to comment
Donnie L. 10
I posted on here as well with a payment issue. I submitted a support request but it has been ignored for 17 days. Link to comment

I submitted a support request related to being charged $317 for my annual personal plan. It's been 17 days and I haven't heard from support. So contacting support (even with legitimate billing issues) is kind of like tossing dust into the wind at this point. The lack of customer support is astounding. I've been an Evernote user for 10+ years and have never needed to contact support until recently. I didn't realize how broken the system is and and how customers are completely ignored. I pay for many services (AirBnB etc) using this very Google Pay account without any problem, from my phone. So, most likely if I send a letter to Google " Hey guys, I pay services A, B, C sucessfully by Google Pay, but fail to pay for service D", they'll answer me that the problem is on the side of the service. Am i right? P.S. I've entered Evernote on desktop and tried to pay from desktop. Paid successfully. Thanks! Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,061 Posted January 9 Evernote Expert Share Posted January 9 You'll have ask and find out what they say. They might say that tehre is a problem with Evernote or that there are other restrictions creating the issue. Asking costs nothing. Link to comment
