I have just been writing in evernote and I haven't uploaded anything. I can't even write half a sentence because this just shows up and then I have to undo the progress. But I don't know what's happening since I haven't uploaded anything on this note. It's just text.

The message says you have already exceeded the limit,  so further access is not possible.  Depending on how far over the limit you are,  you may get access back when the limit resets - up to 30 days from now;  or you could subscribe on a monthly basis for a period to get access immediately.

For whatever reason, your account is locked for ANY further uploads at the moment.

You can check the status in your account information. It tells your total upload since the last reset (happens every 30 days), and when it refreshes itself.

If you need more, you need to subscribe, at least to Personal, at least for a month.

And just to be clear, it's talking about the upload limit for your entire account, not just for this one note.
