The New Web Client has autoformating :-(

Web Client has autoformating
e.g. a dash becomes a bullet point. 
or
1. changes automatically to a numbered list.

I need my notes as plaine text.

How do I get rid of it?
The iOS Version has an option to mute markdown syntax

Let the web editor auto format, then hit the delete key on the keyboard or ctrl+z

There is no way of stopping the markdown conversion, but backspace will remove it each time

I suppose you could use a code box as this only has plain text.
