iOS app slow note creation

Hi all

I’ve updated to the latest version of Evernote on iOS - 10.53.1

Now when I create a new note, it takes around 15 to 20 seconds for the page to appear so I can start typing.

Has anyone else got this issue and is a fix being worked on?

That's fast--for me it's quite a few minutes or not at all.

My Evernote is completely jammed/stuck on IOS since the update--i think it has to do with Evernote saving notes simultaneously in the background to my devices under the new update. I can't turn that off.

15-20 seconds is my count as well. If it’s longer, try to log out of your account, quit the client, open and log back in.

EN is aware of it and will fix it. Meanwhile I keep some new notes on stock, just in case I need one quick.

Isn‘t it allready fixed since the last backend-fix yesterday mentioned by Federico? On my somehow older and not overpowered ipad it now only take‘s 4 to 5 seconds until I am ready to write.

I'm glad I'm not the only one suffering here. It takes about 15 seconds on average to create a new note.

I noticed this for a couple of weeks, I've ended up using email as a temporary solution whenever I need to save something quickly.

Hopefully the fix will sort it.

It has become unusable on iPad and iPhone. All other features mean nothing if I can’t create notes quickly.

I did some checks today and this totally unacceptable for a paid service and word from support:  Yes we know, we are looking and we don't know when it will be fixed BUT it will be in the next major release:

45-60 seconds to create a note

45-60 seconds to delete a note

30-45 seconds to open a note

It's iOS and padOS -> Windows 10 and 11 are fine.

This is different issue and there's no fix per Support today. iOS is not usable at all.
