I apologize for the inconvenience, there is a bug that doesn't allow Evernote to launch on Windows if access to the registry editing is prevented. This for instance can often happen on company hardware with specific restrictions.
We've just started rolling out v10.73.4 that fixes this. You can download it directly from the website https://evernote.com/download.

All functionalities are back to normal.
We are observing:
The overall latency is lower than before the database migration that triggered the outage RTE is registering a lower error rate than before the database migration
  If you are still experiencing login problems, make sure you wait more than 10 minutes and then retry. We limit those who try to authenticate more than 10 times every 5 mins to prevent abuse, unlikely for regular people.

I just checked with the team, the IP you see is indeed caused by a server misconfiguration in computing IP addresses. We use Akamai as CDN, there's nothing to worry about. Apologies for the confusion.

Evernote 10.53.2 builds for both iOS and Android have been submitted to the stores and are waiting for review.

We've experienced a downtime for roughly one hour that ended ~35 minutes ago. This was due to a failed update to a backend service. We've reverted it to the previous status. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Please let me know if the crash still happens on 10.53+. It should be out for everybody today on Android, and tomorrow on iOS.
