Searching for Tags not Consistent Across Web Clipper and App

Hi,

Something that has me scratching my head is why searching and applying tags behaves differently in the web clipper than the app. When you hunt for a tag in web clipper, search is keyword based, not left anchored. In the app, search is left anchored, not keyword based. Why in the world would the two behave differently. A terrible inconsistency imho. I prefer keyword based, active matching, rather than left-anchored.

Yes, thanks for posting the screen videos.

Good question indeed - probably hard to answer by us Forum inhabitants. The forum is user2user.

So probably it would be the  best way to ask support.

Have you tried adding tags using the edit tags window (note -> edit tags or alt+ctrl+T on windows - sorry you will need to translate to mac)?

I'm afraid the screen recordings don't work for me so I may have misunderstood the issue.

So Evernote tech support do not monitor these forums? I find it difficult to find the best way to reach tech support. That's why I ended up posting here.
