WilliamR 1
Since EN updated a few days ago, the seems to be no way to have Evernote begin at start up. Preferences are gone. When I tried to list it as one of my start up programs, Windows does not list it as one of the apps you can begin at start up. I use it a lot and like having it ready to go when I open my computer. Any workaround for this? Why do updates seem always to create more work than improve a product? (sigh) Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 12,054 Posted August 9, 2021 Level 5* Share Posted August 9, 2021 Yep - the usual Windows tango: Log out and back in Log out, restart and back in Uninstall, restart and reload.. ...And if all else fails it's pretty easy to create a manual entry in the startup folder in Windows - do an internet search for step-by-step instructions! . 1 Link to comment

Evernote Expert agsteele 3,059 Posted August 9, 2021 Evernote Expert Share Posted August 9, 2021 Use the standard Windows method of starting program at login... Win+R shell:startup create a shortcut pointing to %LocalAppData%\Programs\Evernote\evernote.exe Evernote 10 will start at log in to Windows... Not as simple as a checkbox in preferences but it achieves exactly the same thing. 2 Link to comment
