Tag Order

The tags across the bottom appeared in alphabetic order in the Legacy version. They now appear to be in random order.

I use tags extensively and have generated my tags in a way that makes it easy to maintain on notes with multiple tags.

Am I missing something here?

I am very happy to see that new Evernote Windows app has been updated to display tags in alphanumeric order. I realize that many are clamoring for the ability to sort by tag and I do not see that capability provided as yet.

The return-to-old-Evernote improved ordering is true in two places, (1) the note listing by title, where tags appear in their own column, and (2) the note content, where tags appear at the bottom of the note. This was not true when the New Evernote 10 debuted, but I noticed it was now corrected to be sorted rather than be in the order entered.

Per the "Help / About Evernote" display, I am running Windows App:

v 10.5.7 build 2171 public
Editor: v114.1.14753
Service: v1.25.2

Agreed. I think the order is the order you added them rather than being random.I use special tags starting with punctuation characters  to keep them at the top of the list. The main problem this causes for me is that only the first few tags appear in the snipet view while I want my important tags there

I did a quick test with two new notes. You are correct. The order in EN 10 is order added. The order in Legacy was alphabetical for the same two notes. I too use special characters to place the key tags at the top. I have over 11,000 notes; not about to go back and re-tag them. Hope this gets addressed.

Is it me or did they just change the @ in front of the #? The order in V6.25 was # and than @.
